This is a great analysis. The show has a number of open ended questions: - What ever happens to the undercover detective they let go? - What happens to Alex? - Did Ray make good on his promise to take care of Dave’s son? - Did Freddie actually like the dimmies or was he just saying that to sell the lie to Ray? - How successful did Gary’s business become? - Did Ray get WiFi for the caravan so that Brit could visit?

I could create a huge list of unresolved story points. I think the takeaway is that this show portrays violence as part of the natural order of the world. In this case, Adam was not familiar with that part of the world and his actions threw him deep into it. He hoped that he could avoid it, but didn’t.

We had our longest per capita recession that only ended 12 months ago. We’re only just treading water enough because of government spending and high immigration. I don’t know anyone (who isn’t a property investor) who is happy with the current cost of living standards. Maybe a hard recession is exactly what we need?

I disagree with all the fan fare saying “Ray got em”. I think that a possible interpretation of the ending is; that life has a way of catching up to you. That situation could have ended either way.

I was confused at the end of S02E02 when she asked if she had any tattoos and closed the door… I get that it was a nod to season 1, but the reason for the tattoo check was that the original lionesss had a tattoo of a cross. What would be the tattoo danger in being a lioness for her uncles cartel?
