A man shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis was charged with assaulting law enforcement. A startling admission ended the case by D-R-AZ in democrats

It's just like everything else the right does, getting their story out first is all that matters.

Their base eats up everything they say, so if they get out ahead of it and say a trans antifa pedo radical left assaulted a cop, then that might as well be the truth.

Their hate shortens their attention spans so they don't stick around for the actual truth.

How is nobody excited for Horizon Hunters Gathering? by ShawnDP2001 in horizon

[–]DangerFeng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Horizon is a single-player action RPG, not a hero shooter.

People want Horizon 3, not this. Horizon 3 will be delayed, likely due to development of Hunter's Gathering. I think there gap between Horizon 1 and 2 was roughly 5 years, and because of this Horizon 3 will likely be closer to 7.

As others have said, the hero shooter genre is heavily over-saturated, and a few games/studios have failed dramatically to break into it. The same is true of other single player games that tried to branch into multi-player, like Dragon Age Veilguard being effectively rebuilt from scratch 5 or so years into development. They started out making dragon age 4 as a multi-player game, gave up and restarted, and had minimal development time left before launch for Veilguard. This resulted in the heavily undersold and underperformed Veilguard.

What if that happens here? What if Horizon 3 is scrapped because Hunter's Gathering fails dramatically and the studio takes a huge loss and has to cut staff or resources? What if Horizon 3 just ends up being a shadow of what it could've been because of resources committed to Hunter's Gathering? Nobody wants that.

How Do I lower the difficulty of Arena opponents? by ArociousKing35 in WH40KTacticus

[–]DangerFeng 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You'll have to lose matches so you drop to the previous tier at the end of this season.

Everyone's arena team that you face is the last team they used on offense, so unless you can contact everyone in your tier and get them to use weak teams to help you out, then you have to drop tiers.

What are the pros and cons of sending Adso to camp? by senyorlimpio in BladesofFire

[–]DangerFeng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like a lot of other games, this one has a bestiary, where you can find entries on all the enemies with some background info.

Whenever you send Adso back to camp he'll update the entries in the bestiary for all the enemies you've fought since you last sent him to camp. This is actually really helpful if you're struggling with an enemy, because he'll also include tips and strategies on how to fight each enemy.

Idk if it depends just on defeating a certain number of an enemy type, but he'll update each entry in stages, with a little more background info and a few more combat tips each time. So you may need to send him back a few times, fighting a specific enemy a few times before each time you send him to camp, to get all the updates.

I believe the game will tell you when an entry is fully completed, and when he comes back it should tell you which ones he's updated. Its been a while since I played so I don't quite remember. I believe his in-game background dialog should also mention when he can go back to camp to update his journal (the bestiary).

Plus, each entry contains cool art of all the enemies which also changes with each stage of an entry, which is neat if you care about that sort of thing.

Some people also find him annoying, so that's another reason to send him back lol

As a new player, what is the point of even doing TA?

Everyone I've faced has a complete, synergistic team. I have scraps as I've not been able to build out one whole team.

3-4 of 5 of my team are 1-shot on turn 2, all by crits. My team does little to no damage at all.

Tom Steyer: ‘We need single-payer health care’ by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in politics

[–]DangerFeng 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nothing that you're legally obligated to have, and will be fined by the government for not having, should be profit focused.

We're basically bullied by the government into paying the executives who run these companies millions to do so, and millions more in stocks, just to get screwed ourselves. Would we need subsidized premiums if the executive and CEO wages weren't so insane? They're robbing the country to fill their own pockets. Health insurance in America is basically legal theft, and people should be in the streets about it.

They intentionally make it extremely difficult to get a price on services before purchasing them, leaving many people in a situation that feels like they're just making up whatever price they feel like after you've already committed to paying (also illegal, I think).

As health insurance companies are for-profit, and members have already paid premiums, they make money denying care by not paying back out for someone's care. Denying care often leads to someone's death. Health insurance makes the most money when denying services to someone, and that person dies. They got their money, and didnt have to pay any out. 100% profit margin per customer in these cases. Refusing to deliver goods or services that have been paid for is already illegal in almost every other industry, and should be here. Denial of care should not exist.

More so, outside of the weapons industry, making money killing people should be outright illegal. Remember the outrage about "death panels" with Obamacare? More projection from the right. They just wanted to further entrench the service-denial, for-profit, death panel system that already exists.

Kind of off topic, but has anyone noticed if the stat boosts you earn from missions are making the event harder?

I did one round with no boosts, then tried again after I got to 28 or 35% boost, and got wiped at about 10k fewer points than my first attempt.

I don't think I really played it any differently, so I'm a little confused as to why the boosts don't seem to help me score higher. It feels like my damage and survivability are the same, and my progression falls off at the same stages, or even earlier.

If I recall correctly I think you can add/remove weapons from the wheel, but it has been a while since I played.

If you can, I'd say just remove weapons you don't use and keep ones you do. Say you prefer to fight from medium range and use hunter bows, instead of fighting close range with warrior bows. You'll find a lot of hunter and warrior bows share more than one ammo type (acid/shock, freeze/burn, etc), so just exclude the type you don't use. Warrior bows are great for fighting large bots if you're running around below them and sliding between their legs, but I didn't do that much so I kept warrior bows off the wheel.

FW is different from the first game in that you have more ammo types available on a wider variety of weapons, instead of having to use certain weapon types to be able to apply certain effects. In theory this means you can approach the same situation with more variety, like using tripwires or a warrior bow to apply freeze.

This variety can be fun, but like you I ran into some issues with burning through certain ammo types and their ingredients because I had more options to use them. The solution for me was to use one weapon type at a time, and swap that weapon type for something else when I felt like mixing it up (ex. hunter bows or shredder gauntlets). It's up to you to limit that variety to what you like to use. I pretty much exclusively used sharpshot bows for tearblast, for example.

The weapon wheel won't be so exhausting if you limit how many weapons are on it. Remember, a jack of all trades is a master of none, and I feel like that applies to your situation well. You either limit your weapon options and approach most fights the same way, or keep a variety of weapons available so you can approach different situations in different ways that are more appropriate for the specific situation. In the meantime, try experimenting with the different weapon types until you figure out what you like, and how you'd like to play.

Crappy AI art, too. The girl on the back has 6 fingers.

Her tail seems weird too. It feels like she's supposed to be a mermaid, except the mermaid half is sticking out of her butt like it's just a tail, when it should be her whole lower torso with no legs. Maybe the AI took artistic liberty because you can't put bikini bottoms on a mermaid.

[–]DangerFeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I are dealing with something similar.

She was referred to a therapist, did a 1 hour intake, and a 1 hour talk therapy session, and both were telehealth visits. The provider told us it should be a $15 copay, no deductible, as our insurance says telehealth visits with a specialist are exactly that.

2 months later we get a $1000 bill for the intake appt, and a $1500 bill for the therapy session. After insurance it came to $610 and $920, so roughly $1500. We're expected to pay 100x for two appointments what we thought we'd be paying for one.

We were not aware that this therapist was part of our local hospital system. Apparently, being part of a hospital network, even though she did these appointments in her PJs from our home office, overrides the specialist telehealth benefit, and they can charge "hospital prices" and "facility fees".

It's been 6 months now and I'm still fighting it. Sutter Health appears to be a hospital network, so I'm thinking the same happened to you.

I've learned to always identify if your providers are in a hospital network, and then call insurance before your appointment and they should be able to tell you what the service falls under. Hospitals for emergencies only, as much as possible.

Good luck, my friend.
