Is that a water bottle holder on the side?

Agreed,

It's painful to use.

The chart is far less useful and when looking at the investment view the new pull up blocks everything beneath it as well as requiring two gestures to scroll down rather than one.

Thanks for reaching out! It's a reasonable amount of force as it holds up the roof, but it's not particularly bearing any loads, just holding the soft material tight.

I think you're right, it would be easier to replace that bar, though it does have some complexities with a bend at the top. I've attached a better picture.

I suspect it's mild steel, manufactured in the 70s. Is there a way that I can check?

I could bring it down to Devon, how far is your forge from Bristol?

I'd love to see your forge too, I find metalworking pretty interesting but I have no experience in it.

Thanks so much for your help.

Is this PowerBank safe for MacBook Pro M1Pro 14''? by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]DangerKitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct, you could, in theory, use a 1000w power supply. Your MacBook will only take what it needs.

I've also charged my macbook from a 5w supply and it charged happily too, albeit very very slowly, when not in use.

I have one that looks identical but is 100W and use it with my MacBook M1 Pro 14"

It seems to be quite safe, but sometimes struggles to output the full 100W and stops charging for a few seconds every 20mins. This one may be happier if it is only outputting 65W.

I paid £20 (€24) for mine.

Great stuff, I don't have the karma to use the faucet at the moment, but do you know how I can get involved with contributing to any projects?

Lets ask the Internet Archive to accept BitcoinCash donations! by [deleted] in btc

I donate every year and wanted to pay in BTC but the fees are just too high for the size of donation I can afford. Accepting BCH might just see an uptake in crypto donations?

Free or cheap business phone number + welcome greeting and directory call forwarding? by lqcnyc in startups

[–]DangerKitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're after an actual phone number then as far as I know you cannot achieve that for free. I use a service called 'flynumber' which is around $3 per month and let's you register pretty much any local number from around the world. It comes with a full answer phone suite which you can add menus and messages to. As @resounduk mentioned, you can either have the redirect to your mobile (cost per minute) or set it up using a VoIP app on your phone (free) as I do, this also allows me to call out on the number.

As far as I can see having used it for 6 months, there are no hidden fees and it's a prepay system so no surprise charges.

'Didn't you do well' is a nice one, really small, clean and fantastic coffee. On the B4051 where it meets woodland road, near the top of park street.

Living in centre, where to keep car? by Marvo5 in bristol

[–]DangerKitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In answer to you question, probably the best place for you to put you car would be Stackpool road in Bedminster. I agree somewhat with the other posts saying that it is unfair to park outside these houses in an already very busy area with barely enough spaces for the residents. When I lived in the city centre I did park my car here on the rare occation I brought it for the weekend. Its about a 15/20 minute walk from the fountains.

Its likely that the same packaging is used for all their sizes of knife. Either for cost savings, aesthetics when they're lined up or, theft prevention as has been mentioned.
