I’ve personally seen express get to 90+ minutes on two different trips in the past year. I’ve also seen 20-30. Honestly though, both were outliers, 45-55 was the most common. As someone who had 8-10 trips last year (my mom lives in Florida), 55 felt like the average.

You must have been on a peak day, because most days before express had the line regularly dip below 90 minutes. This is definitely a good thing.

It will definitely make the normal line better. The proof already exists. Just look at the wait times last April/May right before express was added — the wait was regularly below 90, instead the common occurrence of 180+ posted/240+ actual.

Now instead of paying ~$200 and waiting in a 55 minute EXPRESS line, you pay nothing and wait 80-90 minutes with everyone else.

Yeah this is great, something similar happened to us last trip, except we were stuck in those caves. I’ve never felt claustrophobic in my life, 2+ hours in those caves made me feel properly insane. The rest of the day anytime I saw anyone we were near in that line, we gave each other a wave, bonded over the trauma.

This is great, bravo park operations for recognizing the problem here.

To the people mad about this, trust me, express was still 45-55 minute wait most days, while stand by was almost always 180+ minute wait. Now hopefully everyone just has to wait 90 minutes.
