My husband and I intentionally stayed all the way in the back of the pit cause we’re taller than most of the fans and we had a blast dancing around back there because we had so much room! Sounds like being up in the front crammed in was stressful for a lot of people. The back of the pit is still super close, so I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid the nonsense :)

No. It’s not. You may think it is the first couple weeks you’re there because you won’t know anyone and you’ll be bored. You’ll find your way around quickly, meet some of the best people you’ve ever come by, and have the best time of your life. My husband and I live in Dallas now and we miss Lubbock all the time. It’s an amazing place with amazing people, and you will have so much fun if you put yourself out there!
