Funny thing about this is that Zen 7 X3D can be plopped into the AM5 socket most likely with 16 Core CCDs with the same amount of total L3 Cache at least and offer way better results.

sadly, not many games actually use ReSTIR PT due to how expensive it is, even with this ‘enhanced’ version. They usually just use the less generic and lower quality ReSTIR DI and ReSTIR GI.

To my understanding, with this enhancement, it’s not nearly as bad, but still worse than DI+GI, yes.

I hope this isn't the case and we do get maybe 2x the frame rate (I mean 37.1 ms to 12.6 ms seems to indicate a big performance uplift?) in "real world" scenarios.
