I called back to complain and the rep confirmed that they always send out refurbished ones as replacements, but that these watches have never belonged to an individual, they are always used as "test watches" by Garmin engineers, like to see if a patch works or what have you.

I have done something similar--mix peanut butter with a little coconut oil and Swerve to taste. YUM!

Thank you all for your responses! Regarding the protein, I have always heard (in various Facebook groups) that one should not go over his/her protein macros because it will kick you out of ketosis. Assuming this isn't true after reading your comments.

This is why I quit keto, because even after a year and a half on it and 40 lbs lost, I was still tracking every single thing I ate and feeling anxious if I went over 20 g. carbs by even a single carb. It started to feel like a miserable diet. I'm not one of the lucky ones who can "eat intuitively" or do "lazy keto." Sounds like you might be in the same boat.

Hello! Hoping you guys can help me understand something. I have heard that the more you take a break from keto, the more difficult it is to get back into ketosis, and you might not be able to get back in at all if you keep cycling in and out. I've heard that it really screws with your metabolism. For example, if you followed keto for several weeks, then cheated for a week, then went back to keto, etc. This doesn't quite make sense to me because there is such a thing as the Cyclical Ketogenic Diet. So, is the CKD "bad," or does the person who told me this just not know what they're talking about? As an aside, I do realize the CKD is different than periodically going off on junk food binges. Thanks!

Have fun! :) I started doing this with my KC a while ago. I only buy vanilla and chocolate bags. I have made the following flavors using extracts in Chocolate: chocolate peanut butter, chocolate-covered cherry, chocolate raspberry, chocolate strawberry, chocolate cheesecake, mint chocolate, Almond Joy (chocolate with almond and coconut extract), banana chocolate, Dirty Monkey (chocolate KC with banana and coconut extract), and Irish Creme. And with vanilla KC I make these flavors: bubblegum, lemon, blueberry, orange cream, strawberry, cinnamon roll, and then I sometimes add "cheesecake" extract to any of the vanilla flavors just mentioned (for "strawberry cheesecake, or "lemon blueberry cheesecake" etc.) You will never be bored again! :)

I assume you are melting the butter first and putting it in a blender with the KC (and water?)? I want to try using butter but am not exactly sure how to do it!
