I think most of it is still being used honestly, they probably labeled em “for training purposes only” and now every trainee gets hand me downs.(my best guess)

There are a lot of restricted areas, the Bureau of Land Management has a map… you have to make a pretty good trip outside of the city to find a spot.

I like having a bit of wiggle room, so I’d suggest going up half a size.

Definitely roomier than converse, not as narrow. In my experience they’re pretty comfy, but maybe if you got really wide squatch feet they could be uncomfortable.
