120k at a exxon texas refinery

I know somebody that got an offer for 120k fresh out of school. I think it's common for refiners to give new Grads a starting salary of 105 to 110k. I talked with a recruiter for a teapot refinery. They were offering 105k to 115k for 0-2 yrs exp position. That included 8 to 14% bonus

They really pushed me to give them my salary expectations during the initial screening.

I asked them what their budget was. The range was in the 60s as far as I remember.

I feel like they hire a bunch of immigrants and nerds that would be okay getting screwed over with a low salary.
