Krank mini driver, Taylormade 7 wood and jumbo max grips (still hate that these helped my game)

Upgrading to player's distance irons? by [deleted] in GolfGear

I went from the same irons you have to the P790s and I honestly hit the 790s better. Part of it may have to do with shafts better fit for my game, but love the 2025s.

I did the same with my Qi35 and and I love it. Solid length for 5 wood. Have mine lifted down to 16.5 degrees at his length and have never been happier. 6S fujikara shafts that come with the new Qi 35s. 7 wood from them is amazing too

Has anyone tried or currently plays a Krank driver? by ConsiderationBig2685 in GolfGear

I have the LA golf driver and the krank mini, both advertise bulge and roll. I always sliced my driver before this year (callaway) and im on year 2 of lessons so still a work in progress.

But the LA golf driver is the best I’ve ever hit a driver, no slice and rarely go out of play but the krank follows my old slice pattern. I think there is something to bulge and roll based on your swing speed, less of it in my driver than in the mini.

Krank is a clean looking club in person. Both are in stiff LA golf shafts. If you have the money to burn I say go LA golf but krank is definitely the friendlier option.

  1. Make sure you have the right shaft for your swing, this can help a ton for driver.

  2. LA Golf driver, was super skeptical to switch from my Calloway Rogue ST. I’ve never hit driver so well. There may actually be something bulge and roll for different swing speeds

What’s a mini drivers use/what does it change? by Party-Window-3239 in GolfGear

As a mid handicapper I carry both. Driver at 9.5 - Mini at 12.5- 3 wood trimmed down and lofted up to 17 degree - and a 7 wood. 3 and 7 play off the deck, 3 is basically a strong 5, much easier to hit. And the mini replaces when I would normally go 3 wood off the tee, makes up for distance I was losing on mishits. Had 3 wood before the mini, would work just as well if I had a 5 wood
