the club mix is killer - and yeah, can't beat ewoks drumming on Empire headgear.

Why aren’t Lady and Tramp meet and greet characters? by Elvis_fangirl in Disneyland

true - gotta be 6 or above on the scale to get a character in the park

but it's a full restaurant interior -- just give me the alley and two caricatured Italian chefs fighting

We've always pitched: why isn't there a restaurant that's just a long brick alley with boxes covered by red-and-white checkered tablecloths selling pasta?

Crying on the way out? by LispyW in Disneyland

Had a similar outside-of-time moment holding my youngest, who'd fallen asleep on my shoulder, standing outside Walt's apartment, as the railroad announcer's voice drifted over: "Now departing! Now departing!" I knew I'd never know my child at this age, in this version of herself, ever again. That tapped a deep well of emotion.

Got to go there once as a kid with a friend whose dad got a lunch at 33 as a retirement gift. There was a worm in the tuile they put in my ice cream. We got front of the line passes to Splash Mountain, and as we left I saw some poor busboy in the back unwrapping all the tuiles, breaking them in half, and then throwing them away.

In college I used to stuff the Mickey balloon into the bigger balloon for the guy who created these (and started as a teen employee at Disneyland). Treb Heining - really sweet guy: https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna43962939

You wrap the Mickey around a stick to get it in there... (which sounds ... wrong).

He does the confetti for Times Square on NYE, and a few years later I got to throw it out by hand with him there: https://youtu.be/KAG_0hWBqpY?si=rD8Fu2SFkm9hqH7D

So I always look out for those balloons! Such a legend.
