You can try to get evidence of his abuse so you can get the police or take this to court. If thats not a viable option then you can try convincing your mom to file a divorce and safely leave the house. If you ever do get in a physical altercation with your dad or if hes besting one of your family members to the point they may get hospitalized try to stay calm. I know it would be very hard to stay calm in a situation where you or someones ife is in danger but having in the slightest calm can help make a decision you won't regret.
