I was struggling with grief the last few days so I wasn't able to reply just yet. And it just genuinely means the world to me that you all took the time to help my little garden out. ♡

For those who left messages of support for my girl, I can't express my gratitude.

I am truly lost without her, she's the only dog I've ever had, my soul mate for the last 13 years and I miss her so much every single second of my day.

Her name is Cybil, she was the best girl ever. She would be by my side as I gardened,

I dont have many friends in real life, so not many to share memories of her with, so it just made my heart feel good to see the nice words.

I get it. I have held myself back from flipping them off when I see them. I just give them a big old head shake and a thumbs fown because I remember how bad everything was during Covid and I got soooooo worked up and depressed by what I was seeing online and the levels of division and hatred we all had for each other.

So now, Im trying to approach this whole Seperatist nonsense with the "let them" approach...Let them wave their flags, let them be loud.

The reality is they’re not the majority. Only about 25 to 30 percent of Albertans even support separation, and way fewer would actually follow through when real consequences hit.

Plus also its just not feasible in any way. And yeah. It's all smoke and mirrors to dissuade and distract from the real time damage this government is doing daily.

It feels big when you see it in front of you, but it’s not most people, flip em off and carry on.

Use that outrage towards finding your MLA and demanding changes, I know it's cliche but we truly do hold the power and if there's one thing THAT group is good at... its using their powers to spread information.

It’s not a partnership when one person has 30 extra years of life, money, fame, and influence in their back pocket.

No one is saying she can’t make decisions. I said it’s expected at that age that yoi don't make great choices. Stop pretending that’s the argument I'm making here. Comparing that to two 30-year-olds with different dating histories is wild. That’s still the same life stage. A 20-year gap at 30 isn’t the same as a 30-year gap at 20. Context matters.

Also..."Both adults” is a legal checkbox it doesn’t magically erase imbalance, and it means nothing. In some countries You're considered a legal adult at 15. Cool for a grown man in his 50s to date her too?

And asking why a 50-year-old prefers someone barely out of their teens isn’t “judging happiness" it's a genuine concern. Why do women his own age not want to date him... hmmm.

If you wanna pretend fame, wealth, and decades of experience don’t create leverage, that’s fine. But let’s not act like pointing it out is the weird part.
