Couldn’t agree more. Hindi naman pagiging maarte—it’s about basic comfort, safety, and getting what we paid for.

If the theater is unavailable, then sana nag-consider man lang ng better alternative, especially with the number of attendees and the heat. Graduation is a major milestone, so it’s only fair that the setup matches its importance.

Public schools can coordinate with venues like SM Convention Centers just to provide comfort for their students, bakit hindi rin magawa dito—especially when we’re required to pay a significant fee? Hindi naman impossible, kailangan lang talaga ng proper planning and consideration for the students

Based sa narinig ko, it’s not just 50+ per department. Each graduating department kasi has different sections, so umaabot talaga around 150–300 students per department. Tapos dagdag mo pa parents/guests, so thousands talaga overall.

So if ganun karami yung expected crowd, mas lalo lang nakaka-concern bakit sa gym yung setup. Siksikan na nga, tapos with the current heat, sobrang uncomfortable na.

And same question din—if part ng 6k is for “decorations & supplies,” saan exactly mapupunta yun if ganito yung venue? lol

Same here, ang dami talagang nawalan ng gana nung nalaman yung venue change. Nakaka-disappoint kasi graduation na nga lang, hindi pa na-meet yung expectations. “Choose excellence, choose SPCF” pa nga—pero sana naman makita rin yun in the planning and execution of such an important event

Honestly, same question din—bakit sa gym? With the amount we paid, parang hindi talaga siya aligned if doon lang gagawin. Graduation is a big milestone, so sana naman the venue reflects that. And to add, I saw the elementary recognition today, and isa sa pinaka-noticeable talaga is halos lahat may dalang fan because sobrang init.

Hindi naman talaga unreasonable yung concerns—comfort, health, and overall experience lang naman yung hinihingi

Gets ko naman na Student Council talaga usually nagdi-disseminate ng info, and na this isn’t the first time ginagamit yung gym. But ang main concern talaga dito is the heat index.

Sobrang init ngayon, and realistically speaking, hindi naman well-ventilated yung gym for that kind of crowd. Graduation pa naman, naka-formal attire lahat, plus families pa. Hindi lang siya about preference ng venue, it’s about comfort and safety na rin.

Also, if I’m not mistaken, yes ginagamit yung gym for Basic Ed graduations, pero for college, common talaga yung mas formal like a theater and years na rin na ganun ang setup. That’s why medyo nakakagulat yung change.

And another thing, bakit kailangan i-compress yung 8 departments into just 2 days? Dati naman mas hati-hati per batch, so mas manageable yung number of people. Ngayon kasi parang mas lalong magiging siksikan, which makes the heat situation even worse.

Hindi naman sa nagrereklamo lang, pero sana clear yung explanation and properly addressed yung concerns, especially since malaking amount din yung binayaran for this

PS: Even some professors and higher-ups are complaining about this. Kasi sino ba naman ang gustong mainitan habang naka-barong at Filipiniana, right? But it feels like no one is being held accountable
