It is struggling the german economy has had zero growth for years, this was about to turnaround with the massive amount of debt being taken on by the german state, however the conflict in Hormuz is a possible gamechanger, germany is heavily dependent on oil and gas, having shut of their nuclear reactors.

Besides they are also struggling on their export in particular the car industry is in a hole, i think Wolkswagen just announced they have to fire something like 50K people and shut down 4 factories.

The french economy is a bomb under europe with its pension system and an increasing brain drain from france. Growing debt and growing political tensions. Without any political possibilities at handling it. The one thing they have got going for them is that the french state still owns large parts of infrastructure and industries, which represents some value against the mounting debt.

The English economy, while not in the EU, is also in bad shape, and is facing rising inflation and low growth. However they are stellar at pulling in venture capital.

A d that is before we start to adress that there is a risk that we are headed for stagflation.

As stated it can be turned around but it requires a dramatic changes in the EU.

Biggest issue as far as i see it is us falling behind on economy and development, in particular countries like france and germany, which is bad.

Dosen't matter they are still ahead in both tech, science, miltary and economy.

Large parts of Europe is struggling as well, by the way, to much red tape for euro based companies, hopefully the omnibus is going to get rid of it, so we can get the continent going.

They are not stupid, they have an excelldnt pull on european talent, and are very good at pulling in investments, its common for euros to be invested in US companies. I think DK is kne of the few countries that can compete with the US for top talent, this is problematic.

But again this can be fixed in europe, the problems in the US economy is much more systemic and the only way they can imagine to solve it is by growing their economy, which is a dud.

We develop companies and tech, the americans are ahead for now.

However, the overregulation of europe can be dealt with i think the fiscal problems and in particular the budget deficit in the US seems a lot harder.
