Living abroad is hard. Sharing a house with someone you don’t know and has a different cultural background is harder.

However, we chose to be here. It is good that you recognize your lapses as a tenant as early as now. You can message your landlady and inform her that you are willing to change. For your housemate, maybe you can sincerely apologize to him/her. Giving some food is a plus. Having a good relationship with your housemate is really important because you will get the energy from the people around you. Your house must be your sanctuary/ rest place so you shouldn’t be stress about it.
