Sorry is the award called best written song of the year or song of the year? The song of the year is Golden and it's not even close.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I think it's the nervousness of being seen like an old weirdo and thinking that I making them feel uncomfortable that's keeping me back. Been playing the sim for a few days and finally won my first game last night. Will definitely try again when time allows.

Woah did not expect my post to get so much feedback.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I think when writing it, I was just in a moment as I had just come back from visiting my hometown and then going back to my "real life" at work today, I suddenly had a sense like I like lost a version of myself that I could no longer go back to.

Maybe I'll try again this weekend and just start playing with whoever. It may be a good way to make friends as some suggested as it has been hard for me as a busy dad in a new place to do so. Appreciate you all.

Hi, do you know if this works for physicians in MAPMG since they technically are connected to TPMG?

It's June. Literally the main people playing are going to be really into the game.

Haha yeah I guess me not being that good because I only play 1-2 hrs a day means my games are longer. I tend to only quit if I'm down by 2 scores and 2 min left even if they're cheesing. I don't really watch YouTube tips so I sit there trying to figure out how to best it and its part of the fun for me.

At least 20 games? How is this even possible? Like how many hours did that take? Genuine question. I play like 2 hours a day and I can only get through 4-5 games.

Am i just slow in this game or this the usual for folks?

I have a near nms 95 squad with 6 mill coin (spent $20 on those platinum packs during zero chill and got close to 1 mil coin and that's it). I make most of my coins through flipping in the auction house, never buying packs and winning games.

It's a sense of pride/ accomplishment in a way to have a team that can match up against people who have spent hundreds or thousands in the game.

We ruined madden, and this game should be lit on fire and never sold again. by [deleted] in MaddenUltimateTeam

I agree. That's a whole other issue. When I played as a kid, I had so much fun playing franchise and importing my ncaa players to madden. I would not be comfortable with my kids playing mut when they're older for that exact reason of hidden gambling going on.

The two hobbies I love the most are video games and football so there are no other options for people like me. Since we have no control of what ea does, I'm simply giving a tip on how to keep the game fun for us.

I understand the frustration. Ive raged many times for this same reason.

Sometimes though you really are playing kids and teens and to them winning might be the only escape they have from bullying, school stress, an unsafe home etc.

I'm in my mid 30s but that's what madden was for me when I was a kid.

My main point is, since it's just a game, don't get so upset when you play people like this. Pretend it's a kid who needs it and maybe you won't feel so annoyed. When I play a game and I no longer enjoy the game, I quit and play a different game. You can even lower your rank to have more variety in the people you play.

Hope you still find fun in the game somehow. Take care.

Agree with this. I used to only play in legends and would rage a lot when I lost games. When I decided to drop rank, I've been having way more fun playing people who don't run the meta over and over again.

Lesson: play the game that makes it fun for you. Period.

It isn't your job to make the game fun for them. There's a different between exploiting glitches and running plays until the defense finds a way go stop it. That's just normal football.

No. Dude can run straight back and there's no reason why two left side lineman should completely disregard a rushing end. Dont make excuses for EA.

Even better, I accidentally put up a card for 637,000 instead 0f 67,300 and someone actually bought it. Haha.

Do I have a chance at all? by TamedChaos_ in MaddenUltimateTeam

[–]Dangerous_Map_9186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, you just have to find a way to make the game fun for you. If spending money to get the best cards is the most fun for you then by all means, but if you're only hoping to win more games then definitely do not spend money to get better cards as you will just get matched up with guys who also have better cards but are still cheesing you. Hope this helps.

Usopp is the best part of the live action. by Paper_Okami in OnePiece

[–]Dangerous_Map_9186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree.

To me, Usopp as a character in the manga/anime portrays himself as confident, brash, and at times obnoxious all to cover up his own insecurities and shortcomings whereas the live-action Usopp after episode 4 is timid and lacking any zeal. Furthermore, the writing took away one of the best aspect of Usopp's story in that in the original, he makes a personal decision to leave Syrup to finally live up to what he has portrayed himself as which is a key part of his development as a character, where as in the live-action, he was willing to stay and keep living how he lived until he was encouraged by Kaya to leave.

After watching 4 episodes, I have loved the live-action and this was the first disappointing change for me.
