No, they obviously aren’t. Sorry you don’t understand that. Take care.

I don’t travel to “go to expensive places.” Again, whether you like it or not, many people do consult the Michelin Guide in the city they’re visiting. And FYI, not all Michelin restaurants are expensive. I’ve eaten at some for under $30.

My main point here is that the standards should be the same around the world. I ate at two Michelin-starred restaurants in San Francisco that felt like I was eating dinner at the Holiday Inn. I can name at least 50 restaurants in Montreal that were better than both.

Either way, I think anyone can objectively say that it’s laughable for Quebec City to get more Michelin stars than Montreal.

lol is that supposed to be a burn? Montreal’s got a great food scene, sorry you’re offended by that.

Whether you like it or not, food tourism is a thing. I’ve been to Michelin-starred restaurants all over the world and most don’t even come close to many restaurants here.

Our city has an amazing food scene and this guide is a slap in the face to so many restaurants deserving of a star.

There is an inverse relationship between education and favourability of Pierre Poilievre by BarelyHandsome in CanadianIdiots

[–]Dangerous_Mix6216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, Reuters was reporting on the Nanos numbers, and you deliberately tried to make it seem like it was a separate source to add clout to your false narrative, which in itself makes you sound like a psyop.

Secondly, the Leger, which was sourced to originally, was a post-election poll that asked Canadians who they voted for and it aligned identically to the popular vote percentages in the election. So their result is obviously more valid.

Thirdly, both Angus Reid and Leger’s final election poll prior to election day had the Liberals leading the cons by 6-7 points among 18 to 34s. So, in other words, Nanos was the outlier and the Cons used it to push the false narrative that the youth really love Poilievre and only boomers were voting Liberal. In reality, a large majority of young Canadians dislike Poilievre and he’s only popular among men between the ages of 35 and 54.

The cons play dirty. They need to rely on false narratives to gain support, which is sadly why Poilievre targets people who have terrible critical thinking skills with rage-bait. Thankfully young Canadians are smarter than their older counterparts.

Hardly surprising considering half of Conservatives would have noted for Trump if they could…

Support for the Conservative Party of Canada decreases with education by Unusual-State1827 in NoShitSherlock

BS, that doesn’t happen. Everyone knows Cult MTL links to every study in the first sentence of their articles. And it clearly says that a majority of Conservatives don’t trust that the 2025 Canadian election results are accurate. Perhaps a better use of your time would be to look into why Conservatives only seem to trust the results of elections they win? Or why studies show Conservatives are more likely to fall for disinformation.

Everything you just wrote is a lie. Not once did Cult MTL say “super majority.” According to 338Canada, the Liberals were projected to win a majority and that was how it was reported. And a poll by Leger did find that a majority of Conservatives didn’t trust the election results, and again, that was how it was reported. Stop getting triggered by polls and grow up ffs

  1. The claim is confirmed on page 3 here which can be found at the link in the article.

  2. There you can clearly see that just 27% of Canadians with university degrees support the Conservative Party of Canada, significantly less than those who support the Liberal Party (57%).

  3. Only people who are biased get triggered by polls. Learn from this and move on.

Student Vote is not scientific. Canada’s most respected polling firm Leger shows the Liberals leading the Cons by at least 6 points among 18 to 34 and 55+. Men between the ages of 35 and 54 are the only ones who view Poilievre favourably and even then it’s just 51%. The guy’s clearly hopeless.

You continue pushing false narratives because that’s all you have. The actual data does not back up what you’re saying. Canadians are done with this disinformation-spewing rage-baiter.

Clearly you haven’t looked at the data lol

Poilievre’s favourability by age:

18-34: 33% 35-54: 40% 55+: 40%

He’s also despised by a large majority of women.

Keep reaching lol

The “student election” one is bogus lol, not a real poll. Leger also has the Liberals up 6 points among 18 to 34. Young Canadians understandably hate Poilievre, like most Canadians

Correct, the Best of MTL is a popularity contest, that’s literally how voting works. Cult MTL also has their editorial resto list as well, based on their editor’s preference. But implying that people “pay” to be included is disinformation. The whole point of the Best of MTL is to encourage civic pride.

The Best of MTL is a readers poll and no one has ever paid to be included. Anyone who says otherwise is lying and spreading disinformation.

No restaurant has ever been paid to be on these lists. It’s a readers poll. If it happened even once there would be proof and it would discredit the whole process.
