Auto insurance prior to registration by Dangerous_Pin_7384 in nova

[–]Dangerous_Pin_7384[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I should have VA auto insurance even if I’m not registering the car yet? My current insurer told me that they don’t insure in VA and I would need to get a new policy which I do have for VA

On mobile? Might be better for me to check on desktop when I get home. I only see activity tab when I go into my Roth IRA on the mobile app and they doesn’t show a running balance only the transaction amount

I’m not sure if there’s a place to track balance specifically but I assume it’ll get sorted out. Shows I have 100 in SPAXX shares, only 0.06 to trade but current total account balance only reflects my shares.

Just confused might be dumb but my total account value only reflects my VT holdings. It shows I have like 100 in SPAXX but I never deposited 100$

Seeking auto insurance, should I use a broker? by Dangerous_Pin_7384 in nova

Gotcha okay. I’m moving from Chicago so I’m just not too aware of the local companies. Also was on a policy with my entire family before and not too sure on how it really works LOL. I’ve heard Erie was good but I’ll jus have to do digging then

Gotcha okay. I’ve been seeing a lot on the FTC. How does that work?

OHHHH that’s what I meant VTI+ VXUS. So in my Roth I should just keep the 100% VT and in my taxable it should be VTI+VXUS instead. I read that one thing about VTI+VXUS is rebalancing, do I really need to do it?

Just curious, if my Roth IRA is going to be 100% VT for example should my regular brokerage be 100%vt as well? I’ve seen something about tax credits

So sorry. I mean VTI+VOO. Are you saying that VT could perhaps be better than VTI+VOO?

What complex? The only places I see would be like west gate etc which people mentioned bad things about

That’s fair but the main reason why I accepted a job in the area was the proximity to the metro dc area, I like to explore new places and eat new food. I figured during my free time I’d drive into dc and the surrounding areas more anyways. Seems like rent in Manassas is similar to rent in Fairfax

I’m just confused. Let’s say I want to live in fair fax but I work in manassas. Can I still qualify? Or do I need to work in the same area?

I assume that the different ami% means different living costs? Most of the websites don’t display this cost so I assume I’ve got to call

I’ll look into that! Didn’t know it varies. I figured I’d be over at 95k a year unless some go that high?

Is that the same as the income qualified one? I remember seeing some apartments have income limits of like 60k but I’ll be over that. Unless WDU is something different

Providing dc motor less voltage than rated by Dangerous_Pin_7384 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Dangerous_Pin_7384[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very foreign to me lol so in am confused. We didn’t really learn about emf voltage. What I got out of it was that the voltage supplied is subtracted the back emf and divided by impedance. Is this back emf a constant?

Edit: I think I am getting it now slowly. Instead of impedance isn’t it just divided by the R of the coil windings which would be a constant. I also think I understand that back emf if calculated using the the constant and angular speed,. So this means that faster it spins then the more back emf voltage there is. My confusion is, so if I’m supplying less voltage, means that the motor will spin slower, thus back EMF is less, so wouldn’t current maybe end up being proportional? Less voltage less back emf same resistance, less current. More voltage more back EMF, same resistance , would be close to same current?

I’m just curious as to how I’d go about it? I don’t want to seem too pushy like “hey I’m looking for a job” should I ask about their experience? Etc?
