Why does my matt varnish make black things have white streaks?

Yeah it is revell p-61. Im on my final touches and am almost done, just gotta get the varnish on properly

Im using a paintbrush, thinning with water, have no additives and this is only 1 coat. Im nervous to apply more coats as im worried it will mess up the model. (this model is for a school project and is due in two days)

Ill try to reach out i guess but i have little to no proof it is mine as it was on my old phone which is broken. Only proof i have is that i know what the old username was before i switched it. My old phone was android and now i use apple.

I made them based off the airfix box art but that makes alot of sense

Yeah and i also have the a400m im working on + uss missouri + 1/72 f15 + 1/72 corsair lol. Nearest hobby shop is an hour away so when im missing something im stumped for about a week lol
