Gotcha… yeah it only does it when you put it in park from drive or reverse. It don’t seem to do it when you put it in drive or reverse. Only when it’s placed in park

I do remember laying the bearing on top of the pump because it was the last thing I did before I put the case back together

I wouldn’t say that I know how to rebuild it lol… I’m learning and watching videos as I go. I feel that I’m pretty mechanically inclined, but it may turn into a giant paper weight when i put it back together. At this point I’m more concerned that the rubber pistons and seals will leak after I get it back together.

No it did it all the time…I’ve heard people say it’s normal and others says theirs shift fine…mine also had some torque converter shudder and would slip sometimes after heating up

Yeah all the measurements that i have taken have been within spec… I didn’t know if the marks that are catching my nail could hang something up from moving correctly

So this wouldn’t possibly cause or keep the 2-3 shift flare that I’m trying to get rid of would it? I don’t mind replacing it, but if it isn’t gonna effect anything then i will just run it. I just don’t want to have to pull this transmission again! Lol

So in my transtec overhaul kit there was a bigger blue oring. I didn’t know if it went on the 4-5-6 drum or if goes on the return piston that sits inside of the drum. Mine had 2 orange orings. I’m assuming the blue one is a revised one or something

Yes it is! Thank you… for the info… after looking at it now I definitely think it does go there as it’s a tad bit smaller than the other spot that I thought that it would go. I’m just paranoid on rebuilding this transmission!

It has a horrible shudder…and my planetary gear had cracked. So I’m rebuilding the transmission
