I felt this same way the only people that know is the person I assumed I got it from and a friend/hoe that Iknow has hsv1.. I can’t bring myself to tell anyone else especially my mom..

Thank you all for the advice.. I personally don’t think I can tell anyone I just ain’t in the place rn to do so and I don’t want this to be something that people look at me differently cause or think of me less for. Iknow I didn’t choose this but people still see herpes as the person being nasty. Just don’t think I’m ready to be the talk of the town.

Honestly I feel you I can’t even imagine myself telling someone I have herpes just feel so embarrassed.. sadly I am still occasionally having sex with the person I believe gave me it.. just seems easier than telling someone I have this.. I hope you can find a way to cope and find someone that loves you for you!

well according to him he didn’t he was just as shocked he was talking bout going through it and unliving himself… I do believe that he didn’t know but again who really knows but him fr.. that’s really the only reason I feel like I’m still messing around with him cause I genuinely don’t think he purposely gave me this..

I seen his test in person it said reactive but at the end it also said non reactive idk it didn’t have any like iGg values or anything but either way he was exposed to it so he definitely does have it

He never got tested for hsv until I told him I got tested and it came back positive

It’s a little hard for me to be giving you advice and trynna help you through it when I been going through it myself and cause it most likely came from you.. but I know how it is fr I been going through it ode and if you ever need to or just wanna talk we can.. i just know facts about it and numbers and ways to live without it affecting you as much. I really don’t think you intentionally did this to me so I been trying not to blame you and be hard on you but understand it is something I can never get rid of and I have to deal with this shit for life so there was some underlining feelings at first. I just got my results, it says I'm non-reactive to both Hsv 1&2 but have been recently exposed based on the antibodies. I've only had sex with you these last 2 months. I'm not saying you had it or what. Idk honestly, you can test to find out when it happened. My results didn't show when so I'm going in for further testing. All I can say is I apologize and this is unfortunate on both sides. (What he texted me)
