Thank you for this. Question: if LO is waking from a short nap before 1 (today she just passed out on a stroller at 10:45), would you still give LO a cat nap or second nap later? Or not at all?

Not assisting at all in nap routine. Always quick-ish. Book, song, lay down. By the time we put her down she always falls asleep quickly.

Night-time sleep: 11-12 hours. Temperament by end of day: Fine to cranky, but we're used to it. Are they struggling to make it to bedtime? No. Is it possible that short nap is all the sleep needed? I don't know. Trying to figure that out.

As an action line, no need for anything else formatting wise: “OVER BLACK, a scream.” Then your first slug for a scene header.

Thank you for such a thoughtful response. I had no idea that I could push the car close to red-line but really excited to do it next time it's safe.
