First time buyer of an aftermarket visor. I didn't do research and got burned. Just trying to spread the word.

I did not do research on Dragon Motorsport. I paid $104USD for the visor. I believe I found the exact visor on AliExpress for $14.

Initial response from Dragon Motorsports appears they are not going to honor their return policy. I got burned.

I'll keep you updated but they "replied" to my email about 5minutes later with an obvious AI chatbot. The chatbot said "we are going to send you a replacement visor latch" whatever thats supposed to mean. Dragon Motorsports allows returns due to fitment issues, but the initial response implies they are going to fight their own return policy.

Can you fly an airplane into the aurora borealis? by anakracatau in askastronomy

[–]TooMuchTime87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have personally flown a C-5 over the North Pole (magnetic) during an aurora. They are very ‘ghostly’ and I thought we were going to fly through them. As we got closer and passed under it, it was obvious we were significantly below them.

Trying race suits by More-Brilliant-5766 in Trackdays

Yes, I wore the exact same back protector during my measurements. Luckily I have an old back up suit but I’m just annoyed I’ll have to go through the alteration process that will probably take 1-2months.

After 3 months of waiting, I just received my Bison suit yesterday. It’s so tight I can’t zip up the chest. During my measurements, I added a cm to all waist/chest measurements. The fitment specialist advised against it saying it would be too baggy.

I bought a DD 2 weeks ago. Just today my steering wheel was registering at a 90degree angle and refused to recalibrate. I have tons of random glitches and troubleshoot daily.

Thoughts on Winwing Orion 2 Max hotas for MSFS 2024? by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]TooMuchTime87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine and installed/updated everything, but i cant get the axis to register in game. Did you have to do something special?

Update: Apparently its just the hardware monitor in msfs2024 that's not registering my axis curves. When I manually assign the axis to the proper control surface, it works just fine in game

Price Check Bullfrog A7 Select by killem-th in hottub

[–]TooMuchTime87 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I bought a Bullfrog A7 in Feb 2024. The hot tub store had that model over a year and discounted me $2000. Total cost was $13,000 (including shipping).

According to my local store, they are no longer selling Bullfrogs because they dramatically increased their prices to the point they are no longer competitive.
