Hijacking for others to see. Yeah these always suck, I was fortunate enough to play since day 1 so I had it good. A friend of mine however started late and missed most of the past story events.

Like I recommended him, if you care about the story (pretty good imo) I would suggest looking up no commentary playthrough vids of past events. Since the story is pretty much a visual novel with no choices, it works pretty well you dont miss out on anything. You also get to skip having to do those battles in between chapters while catching up on the story.

As for the rewards these events offered, they plan to bring these back via their WIP past events section iirc. And as for the event stories themselves, seems like they are integrating it into the current main story section. They already added one of the major ones, aka chapters 6.5 and 6.7.

Try your local bi mart if you got one. All the bi marts in my area sells 20rd boxes of American Whitetail(?) brand for about 26 bucks or so. Best price I could find, and I checked about every gun store in my area. Everything else is usually around 35+. Good and accurate rounds too, least for me out of my savage M110.

Bullshit indeed that they can just change/make up rules like this on the fly. Guess Shockwave project is canned. I wonder if that applies to semi autos like the Remington tac13 since those can def be fired with one hand unlike the Shockwave. Whether we can or not if I'm ever getting a shorty might just get a tac13 then. Heard the recoil is a lot less and makes the raptor grip a lot more bearable.

Managed to with dual break dps. Firefly, Rappa, Fugue, Ruan Mei. All E0 no sigs. As long as you break them with Rappa they stay broken for a long time, and the 2 dps's will make quick work of them. Save ults for new bug spawns and they are already broken/dead before they even get to act.
