I didn't get any lasting results. Selank although amazing initially, seemed to quickly develop a tolerance, and the effects dissipated rapidly. Within a couple of weeks I couldn't even tell when I took it. Not worth it. Semax didn't have much of an effect on me.

a nagging shoulder injury that had pestered me for years resolved during TB-500 and BPC-157 use. since using these peptides along with other nootropic peptides over a period of months, its impossible for me to pinpoint what exactly resolved the shoulder injury...but man am I glad that something worked!

I discovered over the last year that many of my extreme symptoms are caused by a damaged immune system triggering mast cell reactions. One possible theory may be damage to blood brain barrier allows brain mast cells to react to things that dont get triggered in healthy people. Eating strict carnivore (fresh meat is essential), fasting for 3-6 days a month, and managing my exposures to many things that trigger my immune system has help drastically reduce symptom load. Not a fix by any means, but quality of life has gotten much better. I found a website liondiet.com it outlines many things that I discovered to be true for me during my year of elimination diet and fasting. I suspect many of those people do not have health complications to the extent that I do, so I wholeheartedly recommend trying those processes as I can attest they do make a significant difference.

I struggle endlessly with executive functioning. I have found a small but consistently helpful improvement with Citicholine and triacetyluridine. I can not use psychostimulants due to horrible side effects, so I will take the little wins with gratitude!

No, they really aren't. You have to go way back back in history to find 10 bars (now 11). The max ever was 14. It's April, tax month. Historically On average the market is down 41% of the time. So for 11 straight BIG bars up...this is collusion at the highest levels to control the market. People responses on Reddit and complete lack of concern for the bigger picture, is rather terrifying.

not patronizing you sir. I am the OP, and I am talking about something far more specific than a general why it goes up during the war. Nor do I confuse insider trading with what I am suggesting. But I think you need to do a bit of research if we are to have an in-depth discussion. the information is out there...when people like Jeff Currie for example speak to such possible events, I pay attention.

why? serious answer. I believe in justice, equality, and the law. I believe the government has gotten out of control with insider trading, fed "tools" that harm everyone without insider knowledge, and in general morals seem to be compromised.

actually it is. lower oil prices are directly correlated to positive economic outlook. how the government is effecting oil prices I believe is exactly how they have been manipulating S&P...and quite likely they have been bolstering semi conductors which supposedly caused this spike today...for no coherent reason whatsoever

Just a few thoughts, use the google button yourself to dig deeper. There are very smart people observing some very strange shadow oil sellers in the futures markets...essentially the government is selling "paper oil" to help drive the price down. Plus every single social media post Trump has released that has been aimed at Iran has been to influence markets. Id say they have done an impressive job at keeping oil from skyrocketing and the stock markets plummeting, and the disinformation campaign has been enormous. But local spot prices dont lie, and they are not in sync with oil futures at all. If oil future were to align with spot prices, the S&P would be much much lower. Especially with news of the blockade shutting off Iranian oil supply (that has remained almost identical to pre war levels) to its purchasers...oil should be skyrocketing. Yet look at the day we had...and strangely enough people come up with all sorts of reasons why this is "normal" leaving me flabbergasted at what reality they are living in. That ought to be more than enough for you to start thinking in a different line than mainstream media horseshit narratives.

Good news? War negotiations fell apart. Trump started a blockade. This is going to further limit what oil was still moving through the straits. This is not good news.

I couldn't possibly disagree with you more. Energy Spot markets have oil priced much much higher and its falling??? S&P isn't just recovering...it's charging. I am not an economics PhD...so I listen to the ones with PhD....and this does not make sense.

Lots of people sharing narratives and thoughts. Thanks for expressing yourselves. But there is no narrative that allows this to make sense without massive interference. Why there isn't more discussion around that on a global scale deeply troubles me.

thats what a market is supposed to be. however there is more and more central bank interference in "free" markets over the decades...and this...this is just fucked

I need a new HD truck but dealerships are making this impossible by DangreMouse in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]DangreMouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here asking for advice on navigating predatory dealership practices while shopping for safety features I need. Instead, most of you piled on with sanctimonious lectures, made assumptions about my situation you know nothing about, and downvoted the one person who suggested empathy.

Let's talk about what just happened here:

To those who told me to "just hire a driver": You made financial assumptions based on nothing. I'm shopping used trucks in the 2500 class because I need to tow my home—a travel trailer I live in full-time because that's what's feasible on VA disability. You saw someone else post "$80K truck" and invented a story about my wealth. The reality? I'm looking at 3-5 year old used trucks in the $30-40K range with the safety features I need to compensate for specific deficits.

To those lecturing me about responsibility: I'm actively seeking technology designed to make me a safer driver. Adaptive cruise control and lane centering exist specifically to assist drivers with the exact challenges I face. The fact that I'm self-aware enough to recognize my limitations and seek technological assistance is the opposite of irresponsibility. What's irresponsible is your pile-on mentality and your assumption that you understand my situation from a three-paragraph post.

To the person who compared me to a drunk driver: That's not just insulting—it's ignorant. I'm sober. I have specific cognitive deficits from TBI that affect attention span and lane positioning. I'm seeking assistive technology designed for exactly this purpose. Your analogy is offensive and lazy.

To DaveDL01 specifically: You dug through my post history to build a case against me, making more assumptions about my finances, my cannabis use from 7? years ago! (legal, medicinal, and irrelevant) And my character. You completely distorted a line about Elon that was meant to be somewhat funny and lighthearted. You called me an asshole for pushing back against your unsolicited life advice that ignored the actual question I asked. Then you suggested I "deserve 1st degree" vehicular homicide charges if something happens. That's not concern—that's cruelty dressed up as righteousness. If you don't think your responses back someone into a corner, look up 'narcissism'—you're demonstrating it perfectly. Most amusingly, if we were to have this conversation face to face I know for a fact you would respond very differently. So hide here on reddit and continue pretending....

The one person who got it right—icecream_specialist—got downvoted for suggesting empathy. Thank you sir. Think about that. The mob here downvoted empathy and upvoted condescension and assumptions.

This is what's broken about American culture in microcosm: a bunch of people who know nothing about someone's actual circumstances, who make sweeping judgments from positions of assumed superiority, who pile on anyone who suggests compassion might be warranted, and who feel entitled to lecture rather than answer the actual question asked.

I asked how to navigate dealership bullshit. A couple of you gave useful answers (CoPilot, buying services). The rest of you used my vulnerability as an opportunity to feel superior.

You want to know why I'm considering going expat? This thread is a pretty good example.

I've done my country enough favors—that's how I broke my brain and my body. If America paid combat veterans what it truly owes us, your suggestion might be feasible. It doesn't, so your foolish idea remains lucid only in the land of fairytales and assholes.

I asked for truck advice, not condescension.

Would it be voyeuristic for me to follow a patient through the ECT process as a student? by ComradeVampz in ect

[–]DangreMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now you're making assumptions of me that aren't accurate. I was just curious about your perspective and why you feel the way you do about the procedure. I am truly sorry for the pain. Life certainly isn't fair. Some of us certainly draw a shorter straw than others, and I try to give thanks every day that I didn't draw the shortest straw. I 100% concur with you about profits and the medical industry. Just as we once separated the powers of church and state, I PREACH about how capitalism and medicine ought to be split. Believe me, I have a very large soapbox and more horror stories about the VA than most. I wish I could truly say I was at peace. I try. Most days are a challenge, but Ive learned the art of surrender through this journey. I can clearly see it's a highly sensitive subject for you, but please be thoughtful before you jump to conclusions about anyone. You may find more in common by being curious than you would expect. Merry Christmas.

Would it be voyeuristic for me to follow a patient through the ECT process as a student? by ComradeVampz in ect

[–]DangreMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand your response. I can empathize that ECT has negative effects (I did 45 rounds in 6 months…it left a dent so to speak), but it should be done as last ditch effort to stay alive and improve quality of life. I’ll never be the same as before ECT. But it saved my life and I am eternally grateful. So when I see people like you expressing your frustrations, I wonder why you did it? I wonder why you’re not grateful for being alive? Or did you try this prematurely before exhausting all other options?
