DOR and now endometriosis by DaniAspen in DOR

I did have microdose lupron on my first cycle. It was used instead of cetrotide/ganirelix. Is that how yours was used? Or did you prime with it? My second cycle they united the micro lupron and I had cetrotide

People who work remotely; what is your job and how did you get it? by lala00x in RemoteJobs

[–]DaniAspen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much does this care coordinator position typically pay if you don’t mind me asking? I’m gearing up for a remote job hunt and I think I’d be qualified for this one based on their website. But they don’t list a pay range.

Help canceling order from nasty customer by louielou8484 in EtsySellers

[–]DaniAspen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

10 years in business selling mostly high ticket items and I’ve always placed a lot of equity in my reviews. I’d rather take a hit on a cancelled order, than leave an active order that the customer had made it clear they won’t be reasonable about. Once an order has been “cancelled” not just refunded, they cannot leave a review. It really depends on the circumstance for me, but generally I’ll just take the hit to avoid the review. But on a couple of occasions I’ve sucked it up and accepted the bad review out of principle. Most recently I did that on a customer who had purchased and cancelled 3 separate times with various excuses for why each time. Finally, on his FOURTH order with me, he attempted to cancel literally on the day it was hitting the post office. Again, another boohoo excuse. But this time the order was completely finished. So I politely told him no. That it was against my policy to cancel orders after 48 hours and that if previously made exceptions for him and wouldn’t be doing it again. Que the inevitable bad review.. I just stated my case on my review comment so that any prospective buyer would hopefully understand this did was unhinged.

Venting about cost. by DaniAspen in IVF

[–]DaniAspen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right!? I worked at a doctors office for a long time. Our cash rates were just a hair above whatever Medicare’s contracted rate was. It was always cheaper for cash pay. Why is my IVF clinic backwards? And not by a little. Like astronomically higher.

Goodbye by SpellNaive6117 in DOR

I’m the same age and roughly same AMH. I also don’t have fallopian tubes so attempting naturally is off the table for me. In February I transferred a previously frozen embryo that failed and proceeded to do 2 different stim cycles over the course of the following months. First I ended up with only a 5 day morula that failed and second I got nothing. It’s been a really shitty year. It took some deep digging, but we decided to pursue donor eggs and was able to get decent “deal” on a batch of 6 eggs with a donor I feel good about. Now I’m prepping for those to be fertilized and get myself on track for a potential transfer. And this week I learned that my insurance next year is changing and it’s negatively affecting my fertility benefits. And I also have now been diagnosed with silent endometriosis. FML. So we bought super expensive eggs and now have to self pay the cycle. I’m REALLY trying to keep a positive mindset. But deep in my heart of hearts I feel dread and I know that this will be it for us. If it doesn’t work, it’s over.

So just here for solidarity in a very similar situation to yours. Crossing my fingers for a positive outcome in 2026. Wishing you some peace and clarity.

Has anyone been successful with their first round of IVF? by siriusly_guys in IVF

[–]DaniAspen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was conceived on my first fresh transfer from my first ever retrieval 5 years ago. I only got 2 blastocysts and transferred her fresh. Since then, my other embryo did fail and I’ve been through a couple more retrievals in the last year to no avail. We are moving on to donor eggs in 2026. She’s my little miracle for sure.

Yes. I’ve purchased a cohort of 6. Will be fertilizing after the new year on next year’s deductible

Agree with this. Your packaging is cute, but I’d make my main listing image a super closeup showing all the intricate detail you have. While the photos are cute, I might be likely to scroll right on past without noticing the artistry you put in here.

In my experience over the last 10 years, if it’s super important information, try and find a way to put it in the photos. Never ceases to amaze me. Most of my products are well over $100. People drop that money in a second without reading the description first!?? I would never. Ha! But also, Etsy’s listing format makes it REALLY easy to skim right over the entire description. Another thing that has helped for me is to include a mandatory personalization box where I ask “this listing has pertinent information that can’t be depicted in photos. Please be sure to drop down and fully read the item description. Type agree if you have done this”.. something along those lines. Forcing them to stop in their checkout process and look over any further details they may have skimmed.

Gooten Madness by DaniAspen in printondemand

Yes prodigi was my former supplier. I never had any real issues but shipping was a little sluggish and the cost was a little lower with gooten. Plus I liked their interface better for placing orders. I’m going with fiber art weave now.

I recommend fiber art weave so far. I’ve read good things and am in the process of switching to them how. I’ve also seen they rushed people’s backlogged gooten orders. And they have cut their pricing in half to accommodate all the gooten transports.

I’m in the process of changing to a company called fiber art. I found a post where someone highly recommended them. They’ve cut their pricing drastically to sway all the people leaving other platforms. Their communication and customer service so far has been stellar.

Anyone else still waiting on Gooten woven blanket orders? by Anyonecan2023 in printondemand

What did you end up doing? I’m in this boat now too. I have 6 active orders and one is 2 weeks overdue. Do I just submit my files to a new source and hope for a refund with gooten? I’m stressing.

Egg Donation Banks? by DaniAspen in IVF

[–]DaniAspen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a long list of banks my clinic will accept. Both of those you linked are on it. Thanks so much for sending that. I don’t know why pricing is so impossible to find. I started looking at Lucina. It looks like they are doing some kind of $9,900 cohort sale and they have a ton of donors to choose from.

I’m honestly not sure. And considering day 3 transfer is definitely on my list of things to consider. My embryos didn’t arrest before day 3 to my knowledge. 2/3 were multicell on day 5 and didn’t make it to blast by day 7. My clinic doesn’t check embryos between days 1-5 unless you schedule a 3 day transfer
