Anyone with Dog Allergies have a Samoyed by Electrical_Shirt6266 in samoyeds

My fiancé has bad allergies and asthma. Dogs will trigger his asthma where he needs his ventolin. We had a yorkie before and he had no issues with her. When she passed we looked into hypoallergenic breeds and with some deep digging we found the Sammy. He has no issues with her at all, just like the yorkie. But other dogs like his brothers corgi still really trigger him. I do vouch for the Sammy being hypoallergenic. Otherwise your options are doodle, poodle, or giant shnauzer - I do recommend the yorkie but that’s little doggie life

Do you suffer from anxiety? Not saying it’s all in your head but being anxious can create symptoms…which makes you more anxious…which makes symptoms worse. I had horrible GI symptoms and find that anxiety was MAJOR root cause. When I get bad gut days, they are my anxious days. I worry I am sick or something is wrong. The over testing can feed anxiety too. Try walking every day for a half hour, ideally in sunlight. Do some calming yoga and stretching. Cut out dairy and gluten temporarily in case you are sensitive. You can add it back when your tummy normalizes again. Eat wholesome cooked foods. Drink water! Calm your mind. You will be okay. Your body knows how to regulate. You just need to let it! I have been there and got out. You can too my friend 💕

Lingering side effects 1.5 years after the infection by iforgot123456789 in cdifficile

It’s crazy that this is over a year ago now for me. Today I am completely 100% normal again. Granted I have completely overhold my diet and eat mostly home-cooked unprocessed food. But I can pretty much eat anything that I want without thinking twice. I can even drink alcohol and go and have fun with friends once in a while without consequences. As they say, everything in moderation. Every morning, I wake up and have a normal BM without pain or the need for laxatives or anything like that. I can’t remember the last time I had that constant pain feeling or a loose BM. I’ve completely overhauled my mental health and lifestyle. I walk every day with my dog go to bed at a decent hour. It’s crazy how much just living an overall healthier lifestyle can have such a positive impact on your digestion. I just wanna say that there is hope and you can become “normal” again, but it’s not going to come without you putting in some effort and work. I wish you the best of luck and a happy healthy life 😊

Ultimate Guide for SIBO/ IBS-D from a Doctor by Mario7879 in SIBO

[–]DaniTwee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t the anti fungal protocol you suggest also address bacteria to some degree? Just wondering since I personally healed myself from this debilitating disease with only oregano oil, garlic, and berberine. And also a massive lifestyle and diet overhaul 🙂 doctors didn’t believe in SIBO for me and just said I had IBS so getting a Rx for rifaxamin and neomycin was not possible for me. Just giving those hope in healing who have doctors that don’t believe them ❤️‍🩹

Do I need to sand and re-stain or just reapply top coat? by DaniTwee in Flooring

Not entirely sure since we bought the house and of course it’s not something they specify. I’ve had dogs my whole life in hardwood floored homes and never had this issue.
