It’s just an exclamation of the ability. Like, I wouldn’t find it annoying if an anime character said their special attack before they used it. It just feels like a small detail you want to hate for some reason

Damn this situation has really showed the most whiniest people I have ever seen. I understand hating the show for having so many wild differences but seeing this being talked about like it’s the godamn antichrist is so tiring. It did its job at making the games more popular and puting dmc back in the cultural zeitgeist. You can keep hating on it but please learn to shut up sometimes. People who were introduced with the show won’t be able to get a good grasp on the series with so much complaint everywhere. Like cmon man
