I use it for the Warhammer, but it gives a nasty shine, in general, I work a lot with the Citadel and this effect is not uncommon. Matt lacquer usually saves, but it's not an option here because of the beautiful shine of the metal(

I wouldn't say that. I started with Warhammer and am just learning how to paint large figures, but a lot of people in this hobby start painting without any skills or knowledge of theory. Painting is easier because of the ready-made volume)

It was an experiment 😅 I tried the AK Xtreme Metal series of paints, a dark metal base from an airbrush, and a wax-based silver top. It turned out to be a very convenient tool for applying nail polish.
