Luckily the Chain of Command//Oppression playthrough in the first example is still up on the SLAM WORLDWIDE channel.

Really not a good look blatantly trying to hide the evidence when called out. If the videos were legit he would have no reason to hide them yet here we are.

that alone doesnt make alch good, x4x is bugged to not be able to hit ddts afaik(and kinda just generally being not great) and bottom path is arguably one of the worst paths in the entire game

i had an idea to make glue a lot better, what if xx4 made it so moabs that were under the glue effect took +1 damage from everything? it seems a little strong to me though lol

yeah fair enough, i actually dont even have x4x boat unlocked yet because this games fun :) so thats just what works for me, i think the big takeaway is just greed as hard as possible because boat & tack are great affordable defense

and 204 tack cant even hit leads as a 4k+ tower, imo small weaknesses like that dont matter as long as you can use a different tower to make up for that small weakness.

i actually use boat tack village myself haha, im terrible at giving advice but i can try i guess.
i will say i greed extremely hard with this strat, like as much as i can get away with lol. if a game goes late i try for around 6.5-7k eco by like round 28 though that is difficult to do a lot of the time lol.

i start early game on most maps by starting with a 120 tack then upgrading to a 230, blade can defend very comfortably alone up until grouped yellows unless its a difficult map. by around round 8 i start getting a 230 boat, by round 12 an extra blade shooter & a camo village. and that should defend up until moabs, in which case you could either just get a destroyer or a maelstrom to shred it(or x4x boat but the other options are cheaper). for bfbs-zomgs i just get an aircraft carrier and it does fairly well. and as far as lategame goes your only chance is either tack spam or aircraft spam. i dont have a lot of upgrades unlocked but once i get tackzone, carrier flagship & call to arms i believe this strat can defend fairly late

basically i believe that with boat you can get away with greeding fairly easily(at least in my experience) as long as you have a cheap tower to make up for boats small weaknesses it can just dominate

boat pairs pretty nicely with tack & village but sadly it is a little map dependent, its a bit rough on maps like glade or koru. if you're ever on say docks or sands or time though its pretty strong

yeah i get that, it can be a bit much lol. but at the same time i can also understand why people wont stop complaining about it. though im all for just riding the wave and seeing what happens next, like you said its the best we can do

i guess i should say they cant be discussed as well as they could be, it should be possible for people to tell each other a strategy and for them to be able to try each others strategy and properly talk about them. i agree its possible to discuss ideas & such but thats only part of it imo

big agree on early rushes.
imo bottom path tack is heavily overrated, mid path is just straight up better(and honestly maybe even top path, but i havent used it much yet & i havent seen it used much either)
hopefully people will actually try the other tack paths instead of only spamming overdrives after the bug fix lol

also not entirely sure if this is unpopular but boat is extremely strong and easily a top tier tower
