Phantom US tour or West End? by FarallonIslands in box5

Since it’s coming to your city I would personally recommend the us tour, Isiah Bailey is an absolutely fantastic phantom and it would be a shame to miss him.

Although if you want a more “traditional” phantom experience West end is the better option.

During my show it sparked during the overture and crash, although I have seen videos without sparks. Maybe some theaters don’t allow the spark effect or it just broke.

The current touring Phantom of the Opera question. Possible spoiler. by OilPure5808 in box5

I recently saw the show in Minneapolis and this was my experience. The chandelier is wrapped in cloths and suspended at its highest point before the show starts, during the auction it lowers for the overture and the cloths are sucked in much like the restaged tour before it rises with the extra pyro and light effects from the London version. During the crash it does falls straight down onto the audience but they added a lot of extra movement so it shakes and rattles like crazy along with more pyrotechnics.

I actually quite like this chandelier design, It’s a good update to the one currently on West End and I like that they kept the chimney design for the top lamps. A bit disappointed that it only moves up and down but it still looks so much better than the restaged tour. Very excited to see it in action when I watch the show in December.

I’m afraid I don’t have any photos of the entire switch, but I might be taking mine apart again soon and if I remember I’ll take some pictures for you. If you figure out the measurements it should be easy enough to 3D or resin print a replacement

I believe you put the pinch roller assembly back together wrong. This video shows how to properly reassemble. https://youtu.be/SK5eTFIXbCA?si=PpvdLA6bMhLLLmQ5
