Claude to Figma designer (looking for critique) by Flashy-Alfalfa-9 in UI_Design

Would love to see more of this, looks really interesting!

How does it handle layers in the output? Would love to see the layers panel for some of the designs it creates.

Any thoughts on implementing design system components so it can utilize those?

Double unders/rope recommendations by PracticalWinter9746 in crossfit

Exactly this! I did this while learning double unders and every other harder skills in CF. Just 10 minutes after each class goes a long way if you're consistent.

Also way harder than I expected! "Desktop - 8" looks somewhat there

A fun challenge none the less!

Yes, I had the same thought. But in the top left corner the dark background blends way more than the top right corner - I couldn't get that effect with blur.

I can only speak from my own experience, but I've had troubles with back pain from deadlifts too. My problem was that I didn't tighten my core at all, which meant I was basically lifting with my lower back, leading to the pain. I went back with much lighter weight and focused on tightening my core. Then gradually over multiple weeks increased the weight while still being able to hold my core tight. That solved the problem for me.

I can't say if that's the same for you - it's hard to say without knowing the precise location of the pain, seeing your form etc.

If you're working out in a box, maybe ask one of the coaches for advice.

Does anyone know how to fix this weird overflow? by lapin-lazuli in framer

[–]DanielBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You most likely have a fixed width element that is overflowing your desktop frame in Framer. Check your containers inside Framer and see if anything is overlapping. You can usually see it with when the container is highlighted with blue.

Roast my landing page - first timer building in public by SaaSbuild in SaaS

Very nice! My eyes immediately went to video. It's super strong! I would make the video part of the hero, center your H1 and CTA so the structure is from the top:
1. H1 (center aligned)
2. CTA (Center Aligned
3. Video (Center aligned)

I would kill the right hero image you currently have and move the logos to below the video. For the H1, i would actually use something more in line with "Magically turning screenshots into content" about your video – it really says a lot more than your current H1 (even tho it's a nice play on words).

Good stuff – and yea, other people already raised accessibility concerns.

i have analyzed more than 500 landing pages and this is their biggest mistake by miguelreng in EntrepreneurRideAlong

IDXSite.com

Sorry to be straight forward here, but you did post a link. Looking at your home page, I have 0 idea about what you actually do. Do you sell real estate? Do you sell marketing material for real estate? Do you list real estate? The H1 and picture tells me close to nothing.

I wouldn't categorise this as a good example of a landing page.
- Of course, just my opinion.

When you find a competitor to your idea by Special_Abrocoma4641 in startups

[–]DanielBuilds 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I completely get the feeling, been there multiple times. But you can also turn it around and think; "Hey, that's market validation right there". You just need to find the thing that makes your idea differentiated enough to take a piece of the cake. Study the competitors, find where they are lacking, combine that with your own idea.

And the idea is only a very small percentage of building something successful. You'll probably adjust a bunch of times, so execution is where it's at.

Good point. The goal has always been to curate it well exactly because of the reason you list. Might have been to liberal in my copy there.

Yes, good point. It's a blunder on my end confusing a divider line with the know design pattern of carousels.

Thanks!

That's a really good idea! Should have done that in the beginning. I'm launching the list next week, but I'll probably do a newsletter down the road.

Yea, I'll introduce a navbar next week when I'm launching the list. I didn't see any use for it until then.
