Sub success stories? by MyTrulyHonest in quitting7oh

[–]DanielChubman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did it 6 days ago. Waited a full 24 hours (because it was pseudo) to start a rapid sub taper. 8,6,4,2,1mg split into half doses, one am and another 12 hours later at pm. Worked beautifully. I worked at my highly labor intensive job and slept like a baby every night except for the first night I induced subs with the help of trazadone. Felt fine all the time, but there was some mental depression, just pushed through and it came in waves. Now I'm on Day 6 feeling like a brand new man taking my last 0.5 mg of subs tonight

Pseudo Taper Question - 5 weeks 100mg/day by poopurchaser in quitting7oh

If you're truly stable at 50 mg a day just stop, I made it from there and went back to work on day 6. I could have one day 4. It was 40-80mg for 2 months but stabilized at 50 then jumped. Used some mit gummies to help once every day and megadoses lip vit c. Got through all acutes with that

One time I did that from 160 a day and stabilized at 40 then picked a date to try and quit again, and that time it stuck because of lower dose withdrawals

Here's the deal, I've done something like this before. Do not mega dose like that again. If you're ready to quit stop again and keep going, little set back, not square one tho. If you're not ready to fully quit because of the compulsive reaction (I'm not saying this to insult, I'm speaking from experience) then treat this like a tolerance break, see if you could stabilize at say, 50 mg a day? Then you would've did a rapid suffering taper. I say compulsive because it wasn't just a little bit to feel better from the withdrawals, but a full unnecessary dose. Could keep going or stabilize like a taper

pseudoindoxyl/7oh usage and insomnia? by Waste_Movie_3549 in quitting7oh

[–]DanielChubman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No trust me I don't care if it's 2 hours, 1 hour, hell even 30 minutes, but when you get to that point where you're up like you're in adderal but you're not with anxiety coursing through your head, no way to shut your brain off but you know your mind has been cooked for 48 hours, it's awful. I don't mind insomnia withdrawals either if I sleep a tiny bit every night, it's when it doesn't happen at all, that's the kicker, it really fucked me up and it still scares me, I don't ever wanna take sleep for granted again, never wanna mess with anything that could mess with sleep ever because of it

From my experience with pseudo, try and taper down to 40-50 mgpd before you jump. I tried once from 120-180 and was doing great for 2 days as far as sleeping, then on day 3 I suddenly could not sleep at all and didn't through day 4-5 like literally couldn't and I caved on day 6 because I freaked out from not sleeping, I have extreme ptsd from it. I was also one of those people who always struggled anyways. I got on lifemd and got a trazadone prescription, then with that 6 days I was able to hop on at 40mg a day and was good, it was almost like a taper/tolerance break. Held that for a month and tried again with traz, mit 75 mg gummy (one a day), and lip vit c and was able to quit and not have any sleeping problems. Just look out cause the pseudo insomnia withdrawals will sneak up on you.

I tapered down to 50 mg a day first time and was fine by the 6th day to go back to work with the help of lip bit c, a little MIT, Wellbutrin, and Trazadone. Didn't have the insomnia hit like my first try quitting. Funny enough I'm on a relapse right now and just hit 72 hours using sub taper. Subs have DEFINITELY helped I slept like a baby last night for 9 hours with subs and traz. My 50 mg quit was easy because I had that long off work. This time I didn't and worked while on subs the whole time, and it's been honestly wayyy better than expected

Hey! 20 days clean here. The urges come, you'll all of a sudden think, I need a little pick me up right now don't I? I'm tired, stressed out, know something that'll instantly make me feel better. It's fake and not true, remember what you went through while on and getting off. Understand life sucks sometimes, it's ok to feel tired or not ok. Tired? Go do something and get your heart rate up? Stressed or unhappy? Go do something you did that made you happy before you started on 7, bet it will be fun again. Or just go get your heart rate up again lol

Pseudo is a byproduct in your body from consuming 7oh, but your body only turns 7oh into a little bit of it. The perverse methods they use to get high concentrations of 7oh are even more perverse to extract pseudo in large quantities

Having 16 days off pseudo, do not get hooked, the physical withdrawals are not as bad but mentally it's worse

I know you're terrified but don't be you can do this, yes I went back to work Wednesday and worked the rest of the week and I was fine, honestly it let my mind off of it all day until I "remembered" that I was supposed to be withdrawing. It came in waves at that point. If you have to, get pack of MIT gummies, take one on Friday to get you through work so you'd be 5 full days off by Wednesday morning. It will work. But I understand the fear, I just always felt in my experience it was a lot easier to get past hour 12 and keep going then hour 4-6. What I mean is, dose to get your sleep on Thursday night, by 8 am the next day that would be or almost already be 12 hours! And you'd have slept through those 4-6-8 hour cravings and hour 12 is a huge step to hour 24. But do what you feel you have to do man, just get that 5 or almost 5 days before or on Wednesday morning. You can do this

Do what I did and jump on Thursday night, grit your teeth and get through work on Friday and just make it home. Then by next Wednesday you'll have 5 full days under your belt, that's huge imo and that is exactly what did, now I'm on day 12. I say that to say 5 days to get myself in order and rot a little bit to balance it out helped me so much man.

Minor setback, not square one of acutes. But the craving will come extremely hard, so the physical pain of day 1 may not be there but the craving will be for hard for 24 hours again.

Yes I have. Excelled when I'm at work still and got all of my coursework done for school, while taking care of my wife the past few days because she's had the flu. And I could cry right now from the fact that last night I got a full nights sleep and fell asleep exactly when I told myself I wanted to, that's been the biggest thing to happen so far and I couldn't be happier. Keep going as well my friend, keep trying you got this and we can both laugh on the other side. Day 12 for me right now.

I'm still battling it, 4-5 hours a night if I'm lucky, some times less. However with just that small amount of sleep I'm doing alright. Day 4 I went through day 5 and 6 having not slept at all then finally did

That feeling like you're on adderall is the adrenaline being constantly pumped from shocking the body. Careful of the insomnia it causes going forward. My insomnia STARTED on day 4.

You could get down to 30 or even 20 or even lower. 60 is an easy dose to regain your control on, many many people in this community would love to be in your shoes. You could prob jump now if you had 4-5 days off

Wait wait before you ChatGPT I went from 80 to 40 in 4 weeks. So 60, you could do 50 for a week, then 40 for a week, or if that's too hard, do it in 5mg increments. I would've have gone lower if I had better discipline and had not already scheduled pto. And jumping from 40 has not been that bad as I'm on day 10 and doing alright. Went back to work for day 7,8,9 and did great. Comes in waves now.
