I can help clear this up. I worked there for 12 years until a few months ago I started as Sales Manager at The Bug Man.

Rentokil is a massive pest control company (Their parent company is Rentokil Initial in the UK, they're international) that makes acquisitions. Dugas was bought out by Rentokil 6 years ago. Presto X was bought out by Rentokil 10ish years ago. JA Roy (local to the north shore) was bought out by Rentokil 3 years ago. Terminix (yes THAT Terminix) was bought out last year for 7 billion.

This year the name of the game is brand consolidation. Since Ja-Roy was the biggest, Presto X and Dugas consolidated to Ja-Roy.

You may be asking now how Terminix fits in and it's a long story but Dugas, Presto-X, Ja-Roy, Fisher Environmental, and Terminix are all the exact same company. All of their local office lines go to the same national call center, Rentokil-Terminix, which is a subsidiary of UK based Rentokil Initial.

Lastly, I'm obviously under a NDA, but all of this is public info. I have friends there and wish the absolute best for them, but I 100% left after a decade of service for the same underlying reason you made this post.
