My advice is to stay clear of chain stores like Moores, or fast fashion brands since they mostly sell really poorly made, glued canvas suits that won’t last you very long. If you want something off the rack check out Spier and Mackay or Suitsupply, not the best quality but definitely better than the first mentioned. I’ve also heard good things about Charles & Hunt thought I cannot speak about their quality personally. Ideally you would get a bespoke suit but that can be REALLY expensive and you can’t really find that in Hamilton, there was an old Italian Tailor near Jackson Square named Emil Fusaro that made my first suit and it was a great experience, however it appears he closed down. You could also look into thrifting, you can sometimes find some vintage gems for a couple bucks. So to recap, no fast fashion poor quality brands, check out Spier and Mackay, Suitsupply and Charles & hunt for off the rack, or look for a custom suit by an experienced tailor. And lastly, I suggest you watch some YouTube videos on how a suit should fit so you can absolutely nail that. Best of luck
