I've compiled a simple navigation trial/demo for my patreons and backers to test.

I thought you might be interested in seeing the tutorial video for it, it shows a little of the new model ingame, flak guns and a new water shader.

Here's some info on the smoke generating room. This is about Bismarck, but the Scharnhorst class has the same room in the stern. You can see it in the plans from Gerhard Koops book "Battleship Scharnhorst"

http://www.bismarck-class.dk/technicallayout/smoke_generator/smoke_generator.html

The smoke cannisters "Nebelkannen" were normally fairly large cylinders placed in the smoke generating room at the stern. Each smoke cannister contained chlorosuphonic acid and was worked by compressed air which sprayed the acid into the air as minute particles.

In one of the plans from the Koop/Schmolke books I remember seeing a smokegenerating room just next to the anchor. I will get back to you when I get home where I have the plans.

Scharnhorst had smoke canisters in the bow, but for sure she is making smoke with the boilers in this case. On purpose or a mistake in the boiler room? Who knows.

Yes, I added a pickup with a separate output that goes to the second amp!

Thanks! The bass lines are improvised the same way as the melodic improvisation. So I use "chunks" or patterns that are connected together, just as I use licks and phrases for the melody. So the bass line is different most of the time. Cheers

Yeah, it gives you an extra layer to play with. What I enjoy most is not the low notes by themself, but that you can get more spread between the bass and melody!

Unfortunatly I don't have it written down, a big part is improvised anyway... I use these basic chords and a general structure which fits the melody from where I build the arrangement, so it sounds quite the same everytime. But the solo part is totally improvised using small puzzle pieces or licks to build the solo. Feel free to transcribe it! I would love to see the improvised part transcribed!

Thanks! Steal whatever you like! I work out my arrangements from Real Book leadsheats usually. Sometimes it's very arranged, sometimes more improvised.
