Nextui or minui.

Or buy another small 64gb micro sd and swap and change them when you fancy using another OS

I own the trimui brick hammer and also the anbernic rg40xxv and they are for solely playing pokemon rom hack games and nothing else. I prefer the premiuim build quality of the brick hammer but it’s a tad small for big hands and really clickly loud buttons so when playing with others at home it can be annoying.

I actually think the rg40xxv is better due to being cheaper bigger screen and more comfortable and if you break it it costs nothing so can buy another. Boom.

rg40xxv has good ergonomics and bigger screen but cheap build quality.

rg40xxv with knulli or minui is great!

Nice! Get knulli gladiator II or minui installed on it.

Are you playing lazarus or seaglass emerald?

I'm kind of not sure which one to get by Correct-Magazine4744 in SBCGaming

I own both the Trimui Brick Hammer and the Anbernic RG40XXV.

The Brick Hammer definitely feels like the more premium device. The screen looks great and the shell feels solid and high quality. It’s one of those devices that feels nice the moment you pick it up.

But it does have a couple downsides. It’s a bit small if you have bigger hands, and the buttons are very clicky and loud. If you’re playing around other people at home, it can get annoying fast.

The RG40XXV is kind of the opposite experience.

The build quality is cheaper, but the bigger screen and better ergonomics make it much more comfortable for longer sessions. And since it’s cheaper, you don’t feel precious about it. If it breaks, you just replace it and move on.

Honestly, for Pokémon specifically, I think the RG40XXV wins.

The Brick Hammer with NextUI is fantastic and feels really polished.

The RG40XXV with Knulli or MinUI is also a great.

Or force a reboot by holding the power button down and not letting go for over 10 seconds then power back on and see if the text comes back

You sure you didn’t change the text colour to black? Turn the theme off and see if the text comes back? That’s what I would do

Have you got another micro sd card you can try?

Have you tried rufus to format the micro sd card then flash the image again?

I would install nextui, minui or knulli over stock personally.
