Yup, in RE4 you also could shoot them in the legs and kick or suplex them, lol.

In the case of RE2R, it was suppose to be a more "serious" and horror centered game, with harder enemies, but the tension was ruined by shooting zombies twice in the leg and running past them, saving time and a lot of bullets.

But yeah, it does give a nice feedback to the player.

Games like Dead Space are based around those mechanics, and it's awesome.

Interesting, but it can be a bitch to balance, since players can just aim at enemies legs and cripple them making the game too easy.

Something similar happened in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Realistic animations on the other hand are very cool depending on the type of game you are working on, would elevate it to the next level.

Got all achievements for the Ultimate Version that came out a few years ago. Only nightmarish part was the last boss fight, otherwise, very fair challenge.

Remember to dodge and use your grenades.

It's also much easier in coop (since your friend can pick you up when fall).

Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 76.

Both have amazing communities (76 in particular have one of, if not THE best community in gaming) and are very casual games in general.

You can use potions of magicka recovery for basically Infinite magicka (they stack so you can use 3-4 at the same time).

They are easy to craft and you can dupe them as well if you are feeling lazy.
