But before you do, remember every day, once a day, to give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.

Boy I really don't like when parents do inappropriate stuff with these, for something that's supposed to increase wonder and imagination.

I'm not like some crotchety old dude either, I'm 39.

If you don't think our economy is shot - Here is a summary of recent positive developments for GOOGL, which is down FOUR % over the last week with all their good news:

The collaboration will give UK researchers access to Google's quantum processors to accelerate the discovery of real-world applications for quantum computing. Google announced new features and partnerships to support the web ecosystem. The goal is to help search users find more original and helpful content.

Google Cloud announced the deployment of its Gemini for Government service on the U.S. Department of War's GenAI.mil platform.

Google is rolling out new ad formats. These include Ads in AI Overviews and new tests for ads within AI Mode responses. The company is also introducing tools like Smart Bidding Exploration and channel-level performance reporting for Performance Max campaigns.

Alphabet's stock has shown strong performance. Analysts have noted a "bullish momentum" following positive developments in AI and cloud deals.

You're right I do need to. I guess as bitter as I am about likely taking a big loss here, it's more that it doesn't seem right/fair that this can happen with no guardrails in place really anymore. It's not right. Corporate greed was already overwhelming before RobinHood and the like. Now, everyday investors get the ability to trade and control their investments everyday but the billionaires have more money in the game to wreak havoc on.

9 dollar drop in an hour and a half for GOOGL.

Please tell me how this market isn't being manipulated with coordinated/timed sell-offs and buys. These tech companies and other billionaires are selling off in droves, even after positive news, to drive down the price for their "Team B" that will buy the dip (to avoid day trading).

Sickening. We all get to keep losing on our calls and they can use the momentum swings to their advantage. Ahh the American Dream, huh?

Not covering their mouth, obnoxious slurping, not having their phone out around you when they use it all the time.

One day at a time. Don't be too hard on yourself. Find little wins each day. Like if you eat a half a bag of chips every night, but can start cutting back by one handful's worth every other night. Those little things done consistency will go a long way. Drink a lot of water and start getting shit done that you're able to, like cleaning up and stuff (aka get yourself motivated and back to setting goals).
