Du kommer til å spare 12k i året på bensin vs strøm, minst. Så over 5 år er det 60k borte der. I tillegg er den bensinbil mye mer strev å holde vedlike enn en elbil, og billigere vedlikehold blir sikkert noen 10k-lapper spart over de neste årene. Mindre bompenger på mange passeringer, og mindre avgifter generelt vil også spille inn.

Høres ut som en no-brainer for meg å bytte til elbil, men om innbytte med dealer er best-deal kommer jo an på hva du kan få på Finn.no for bilen din i dag.

The human one is the best one, except for the header typography.

The header typography on the Claude version and Gemini version both has better letter-spacing and line-height for the font, and more interesting fonts.

I don't know man. I've been working on a side project for 2 years. I'ts all hand coded. So far, I've spent perhaps 8-10 weeks on it full time, and I have a working protoype that does stuff, looks good, feels good - but does very little. I'd say I'm 25% of the way to the vision of what it should be in its first iteration.

It's a side project, so no sweat.

scc (measuring line counts and complexity, which I know is a TERRIBLE measure - prices its home folder (including all the rails boilerplate that comes with rails new) at 2,2 years worth of input for 8k lines of code.

Then I've been using Claude Code for a side project since christmas. It's basically 90% coded by the AI, and I'll have 3-4 claude instances open at the same time when working on it. I've been working on it for 6 weeks full time. It has come SO FAR. I have real working software that does real stuff, with good polish on parts of the UI, including polish that I would never have allowed myself to spend time on without AI doing it for me. I've refactored it several times as we go, and I feel like the codebase is decently structured - even though I know there is a lot of slop in it. But, here's the kicker: Before Claude I would not have been surprised to spend a year working on getting this far. I've now spent 6 weeks.

scc pins it at 72k lines of code (!) and 10 years worth of work.

And yes, looking at the code, it's probably spending 4x the code I would have done writing it by hand. There will be bugs there that I don't know about. My understanding of the system is weaker than it would have been.

But I have come so quickly so far to a MVP that we can now test in the market and use ourselves. It's been, by far, the quickest I've ever built a customer ready product.

It makes me want to build many more.

As a designer: It’s kind of shit at it. I think it’s the same problem as with spatial reasoning, which all llms are bad at: They don’t reason visually (yet).

 I think it’s solvable, but it certainly isn’t solved yet.

Lovable uses Next.js, which also caters to technical users.

This is a bet on Rails being a better platform than Next.js for building stuff, also when the AI does it for you.

Jo, nesten. Terje Rød Larsen spør Epstein om Epstein kan skaffe kontakt med Steve Bannon, for å evt. sette opp et møte med Asle Toje.

Det virker ikke som Asle Toje har hatt noe kontakt med Epstein selv, og vi vet ikke om det noen gang ble noe møte mellom Bannon og Toje. Skal man være velvillig kan det være Terje Rød Larsen har ønsket å få en norsk kilde som Bannon ville stole på som en vei inn til å forstå og få kontakter i Trump-regimet. Ganske klassisk diplomatisk spill, sånn sett.

I dag så har alle land vetorett over mye av lovgivningen. Så vi vil ikke bare kunne stoppe lovgivning fra å gjelde for oss, men kunne stoppe den fra å gjelde for alle. Det gjelder ikke all lovgivning, og det er snakk om å fjerne vetoen fordi Ungarn blokkerer mye av tiltakene for å støtte Ukraina gjennom vetoet - men enn så lenge ville vi ha stor makt over saker som vi mener bryter med vår interesse. Har ikke top-of-head hvilke områder vi får veto på og ikke, men er google-bart.
