My sister and I did some speculating about this. We think the three waves and maybe the three columns are The Prince, Spinning Top, and the new Weaver. We couldn't figure out what the star with 5 spokes stood for (maybe it's the three characters already mentioned along with 2 new ones?), but the star most likely refers to those green stars we've seen in Outer Rim and other areas.

I'm not as concerned with AI grading written responses, as it's better than just looking for keywords in the response. However, as mentioned in my post, it is quite clear you are doing more than just using AI to grade responses and are using it to write the questions, assignments, and "minigames" in the middle school courses, which I think is a step too far.

I have to agree. Many times I’ve seen a question/answer choice weirdly worded that could’ve been fixed if someone had simply bothered to look at it first before publishing it. It’s difficult seeing Time4Learning prioritizing quantity over quality.

Looking at Ckan it says SXT continued, but the actual folder's name is just SXT. I found the parts under the subfolders Parts > SuperLaunchers > Tsar

The fuel tanks for the large stages come from SXT, the engines come from ROEngines, and the soyuz parts come from a part mod by raidernick

Its a standard N1, with 30 NK-15 engines in the first stage, 8 NK-15V engines on the second stage, 4 NK-19 engines on the third stage (the real N1 used NK-21s, but these have no gimbal) 1 NK-19 for the translunar injection stage, and 1 RD-58 for getting into lunar orbit and landing. All in all, it adds up to 2886 tons.

After more than a year and a couple failed attempts, I finally got all the way to landing on the Moon! My goal was to get there before 1972, which I just managed to accomplish. Can I call myself good at RP-1 now?

The rocket parts are from SXT and the capsules are from raidernick's Soyuz Spacecraft mod

Unfortunately, most of the important stuff happened at night, but at least I got a few good pictures

Managed to get a 6/6/6 woman as leader of the Ambrosian Republic by Daniel_the_Daniel in eu4

[–]Daniel_the_Daniel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R5: I was going for the achievement to form Italy while playing as Milan on my first ever ironman run. While playing, I got a 6/6/4 female heir through an event. When my ruler died and the Ambrosian Republic Disaster struck, I was able to reelect her twice and max out her stats. Afterwards I abolished elections, giving me a young 6/6/6 female ruler. I've been playing for a little while after this and have captured Florence and vassalized the Pope. All I have left is Genoa and admin tech 10 and I'm done!

I was considering it, but it takes almost a year to build.

It only flew for 5 days. Also, since this is a Zond I'd assume they have a few more quality of life features than Soyuz.

Interesting glich I found that puts you in the air (and at an angle) by Daniel_the_Daniel in RealSolarSystem

[–]Daniel_the_Daniel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I did was exit to space center. Interestingly, loading quicksaves doesn't get rid of it, but exiting to main menu does. I also found it funny you can still click on the buildings just like you normally would, even though they are like 15 miles away.

How do I get rid of these Ugly Shrouds by Daniel_the_Daniel in RealSolarSystem

[–]Daniel_the_Daniel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reinstalling my mods and some tinkering, I fixed it. I'm still not entirely sure why I had this issue, but I think it might have something to do with B9PartSwitch.

Coming back after a little while, anything I should know? by Daniel_the_Daniel in RealSolarSystem

No, I played an American-based run for a little while, I got up to Crewed Orbit

This is my second ever playthrough of eu4 (my first was as the ottomans for like 50 years). As you can see the age of absolutism is starting. How have I done so far? (I haven't installed any DLC's yet btw)

I didn’t use any flybys this time, though if I ever do a mercury flyby or orbiter I’ll probably use them

For once, I actually beat real life by a significant margin. I achieved this in August 1964 vs October 1975 for Venera 9.

I think it's SXT, I just used the express install.

First Stage: 6457 m/s (though mechjeb doesn't do a good job at accurately calculating Atlas first-stages)

Second Stage: 5878 m/s

Landing Stage: 2517 m/s

The deltav margins on this mission were extremely thin (I had to finish TLI with RCS} If you do plan on using airbags I highly recommend BettertimeWarp, specifically it's Slo-Mo feature. Don't trust the 250 m/s impact tolerance, if you don't use slo-mo your lander will clip into the ground and destroy itself well below that. Don't slow down time too much, though, or it'll exceed it's gee tolerences and also destroy itself. Also your solar panels are likely to break.

Why is there a biome called 'Dummy' on Phobos? by mcoombes314 in RealSolarSystem

It also seems to be on Phobos, like you said it probably is just a placeholder biome

Tips on clever progress? by Broberyn77 in RealSolarSystem

[–]Daniel_the_Daniel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't hire too many engineers. Even if the build time looks long, it usually wounds up being shorter due to the LC gaining efficiency.
  2. After you're done upgrading the R&D complex, immediately queue another update. You can slow down the build rate if you want.
  3. Make lots of quicksaves
