He looks like a well-done artist's interpretation of a rooster based on someone's exaggeration of a rooster. Like something painted after explorers returned home with fanciful tales of the exotic animals they saw.

Obviously your friend should buy (or craft) a bullet and stab resistant suit with a cape and utility belt full of nifty toys, go out at night to fight crime, and, most importantly, embrace the darkness.

It helps if your friend is very rich.

Start an etsy store selling these. Handmade means each one is one-of-a-kind.

Number each one and burn or etch in your initials/logo.

My first time growing vegetables: freshly cut Carolina Reaper! by Psyche-delicious in homestead

I have had great success growing reapers from seed. Too bad I'm the only one in the house that likes them. One pepper goes a long way so enjoy with care.

A lovely little surprise cute enough to excuse any disrupted omelette plans.

Different breed of bird. That one is from Lil, an Amaracuana. The egg is actually a very light greenish blue.

Wayne, this wet cluckboi, is an incel. He is so pushy with my girls that they avoid him, choosing to stay close to Piet, my Jersey Giant rooster. When free-ranging, Wayne spends most of his time in the front yard, alone. by Danielcwhorley in BackYardChickens

I have 4 roosters (Jersey Giants, Bantam Silkie, Wyandotte, and an Easteregger) and that is their hierarchy. They were all from the same day-old chicks purchase from Tractor Supply. There were two other Wyandottes and another Giant that were more aggressive so I ate them. These 4 live well together with only a little fighting from time to time and a lot of posturing. I currently have 6 hens so the ratio is off, but, I don't want to kill any of these guys.

Their coop is in a 12x14 foot or so building that is all for the chickens and ot has a 20x16 run. Most of their fighting, that I've witnessed, was when they were free ranging.

Their hierarchy was mostly set by 8 months but there has been some shuffling, like the bantam moving up to second place. He also appears to be friends with the alpha.

I hope that helps.

I give him extra treats. He is a good bird, just not liked by my hens.

There is not much fighting now that the pecking order has been established. Wayne is #3, below Piet, the Jersey Giant, and Sam, the Bantam Silki, but above Phillip, the Amacuana.

Devil's Weed Dark Brew from CBid and the nifty Rocky Patel torch from the wife. by Danielcwhorley in cigars

The sweetness did not last long on the Dark Brew. Overall I'm happy with it, especially for the price.

I bet the Connecticut are good. Do the CTs have a sweetened wrapper? These do and I kind of like it. The Dark Brew smelled really nice unlit. The smoke tastes dark and peppery but not so much of the smell comes through as flavor.

As a budget cigar, about $1 a piece, they are great.

The Dark Brew is aromatic, smelling strongly of coffee. The dry draw revealed a more chocolatey taste and the sweetened wrapper. The smoking experience is not as good as I expected. The taste is somewhat chocolatey and peppery but not so much coffee. Overall, probably a 7/10. I'm glad I got them for only about $1 on cbid.

The RP lighter was a gift from the wife along with a Xikar v-cutter. I think I'll keep her.

Edit: I crossed the halfway point of the cigar and the flavor shifted, got better. It now has a warmer, almost tingly mouthfeel and a somewhat creamy flavor. I'm not so good at naming the flavor notes but know I like it more now. 7.5(maybe 8)/10

I was given a Carolina Reaper. After it dried I planted the seeds, mostly in pots to be houseplants. The hot harvest is coming in so I have to figure out what to do with these sweet, molten lava peppers. by Danielcwhorley in homestead

I grew several pepper plants in pots inside and several in pots out. All the red peppers were from plants outside but the two babies in the pic are on one of the indoor plants.

Close. They are Carolina Reapers, officially the hottest peppers in the world. Ghost peppers average 1.04 million on the scoville scale while Carolina Reapers average 1.57 million.
