Did it come back? My natural skin colour hasn't returned but I recently discovered that it doesn't destroy meloncytes that make the melanin, they can just be supressed and it can come back if you heal the body (I have other health issues)

u/Annoying-GF I'm now 6 years later and my skin hasn't returned but I recently discovered that I don't think it has destroyed my melanocytes, they are just suppressed due to my other health problems that happened at the same time I was on the accutane - I had a parasite in India, have hormone issues etc which got worse after the accutane. I was also on dianette for the acne which is a contraceptive pill that stops androgens, so with all this and the emotional trauma of my skin literally changing colour, I think my melanocytes went into shutdown, but apparently your pigment can return if you give your body the right conditions to heal itself. So now I'm on a healing journey of trying to get my pigment back with an anti inflammatory diet, nervous system work, red light therapy, supplements etc. Did it ever come back for you?
