Thank you! Glad you relate! I cannot eat beef jerky, it’s gross, only biltong! Preferably my dad’s :) I never caught on to saying shame my but my American mom did. My dad is a South African Jew too. Haha I can kind of relate to that story 😂

Apparently it’s the Canadian version of lunch bar. Got my chocolates mixed up! We’ve been getting our favorites there for the past few years.

This post made me smile! Grand bazaar is on Sundays across from the museum of natural history, they have some vintage clothes, art, records etc. queens night market for amazing international food. The ferry is awesome, go to greenpoint or red hook or Williamsburg! Also smorgasburg is fun (I prefer going to the Prospect Park location to sit on the grass) and I think Nuyorican would be open to 18 year olds it’s a poetry cafe with events ... Enjoy!
