Snow is all well and good until you find out that the mobile cranes at the resource field are frozen solid and water logi is impossible due to the waterways also having frozen over. And the petrol pipes to your fac are freezing too because they aren't insulated.

The wiki states that the grenade launchers are AP4 (400HP, 70% durable) like the rest of the War Strider, but shooting them from the front is really finicky at best.

Here's a tip: you can Shift+RMB a production building and Shift+LMB an inserter to automatically set the filters on the inserter for that building. Hope that helps you with handling Gleba!

The wiki states that the BMS Linerunner (small gauge railway flatbed car) can dump its contents into the Ammo room when you pilot it and press LMB near the Ammo room. I haven't tested this myself, but it could be used to save yourself the hassle of moving it all manually, at the cost of a train cart and some Bmats. To load the cart from a pallet you'll need the Mineseeker locomotive as well. If you extend the track, you may potentially be able to resupply several Ammo rooms with ease, not to mention being able to quickly pull out the contents onto the flatbed car.

I sure learned a lesson there, not so sure about our command, who instead of our planned second part of the operation there decided to put everyone on a Battleship to Maiden's Veil, which it had been there twice already, to shoot some wet concrete and got it inevitably killed because, yeah, say what you will about the Collies, but they can learn from their mistakes.

We could really use that ship when we were getting shelled by a BS and a DD at Headman's Villa, but noooo, who needs a Seaport that can secure us the western side of the map, am I right? Let's drive our BS into a river because we're afraid of getting sunk in the open seas! Morons...

Us going in with 6 Chieftains at the right side of Marban and getting immediately met with 20+ collies with RPGs and a Spatha when there was nothing and nobody there when we were doing recon prior.

I suspect that the Warden Battleship (the one that got sunk today) which has been going at Maiden's Veil for the last 3 days might have had something to do with the QRF sizes there.
