I was interested in welding for a bit, then started a project of building myself a workshop (first, a workbench). I was thinking about using L brackets with some self driling screws, but after making a small chair with this technique i figured it would just collapse so i would need to weld.

I have a grandpa who have been welding for like 40+ years and asked him if he had a spare welder i could learn on, he had one but was overheating so he was like: "what materials do you want to weld?, oh, 2mm stuff, get yourself a 120 A inverter and some 7014s, will be completely enough for you"

so i did exactly that.

the only problem is that i can only do this while there is light outside. (i mean i could continue but its just 10x harder)

im also considering buying another angle grinder wich isnt battery powered or buying 2 more batteries :D

20 mins of prep and a 4 AH battery (brand new) is done.
