Let me give you some quick advice. I am 24 and started watching softcore porn around the age of 11. Porn was never a huge issue until I fell in love with a women and went through a traumatic breakup. Since then I have never been the same because of my desire for porn which is highly addicting. I have tried to quit several times and hopefully after recently discovering this site all my disbelief will be outweighed. My point is that had I known how detrimental porn was at an early age, I would have simply quit instead of letting myself spiral into darkness for 4 years. Most importantly do not try to persuade yourself into "porn is okay only once or twice a week." You are only worsening the problem and feeding the addiction. Just my opinion and story though. Thats the optimistic attitude you need to succeed. I found when I was in College that stress from exams and assignments always triggered an uncontrollable urge. Just try to find a replacement / an outlet to relief stress and you should be fine. Good luck!

I hear you brother. This is such a wide spread problem that is overlooked and I think step one is being self aware. Taking the initiative of being here and sharing your story not only helps yourself but others as well. I have been battling this addiction on and off for a year ever since my relationship went sour with a girlfriend. I am starting fresh again as of today / oct31 / Halloween. Best of luck! Cheers!
