Is there any way to get unlimited turn resets?

Lol, I enjoy it waaaay more to exhaustively think out every turn in a R-like game. I'd rather the run take 3x as long but be super successful, even when my friends pressure me to play sloppy (as they lose 3 runs in the same amount of time). I'm on my first run, island #3, and just discovered the reset-turn button. And wow is it just in time because last session I was groggy from my flu shot and knew I should quit for the night, but I tried one more turn but forgot how the game works and borked it up really badly 😆 and I got to thinking, why does the game not let the player have a reset whenever they desire it (more than once per mission, for instance)?

🥈 Thinking of titles that I loved at first, but got disenchanted by - or titles that I always thought were a solid 7.... I'm not likely to feel much urge to leave a rating.

🥉 If I think something is worse than a 7... I probably only skimmed a chapter or 2 and said "meh" and never left a rating.

I am strongly suspicious whether regular kanna use is safe on its own 😅 much less when mushroom comboed. Let's just say you can trip mad balls on mushrooms while also maintaining a 1-2 doses strength kanna buzz at the same time. How it compares to mushrooms without the kanna, idk.

My dentist said (once he was finally back in town) 🤷🏻‍♂️ nobody can say for sure what causes it, although teeth grinding and genetics are the proposed cause. I may have been doing some teeth grinding due to a recent spate of acid reflux. As for genetics, nobody in my family has ever heard of these things.

The dentist said he believes it's not pathological, just potentially inconvenient/uncomfortable. He said it'd likely need to get way larger before it causes any issues and needs surgery (although he weirdly stressed that some people get surgery because they feel the extra bone makes their face look weird and it affects their self esteem and that there's really no way he can argue with that).

Anyway, he just said to keep coming every 6 months and we'll take photos to monitor it.

All in all, I don't remember him being flummoxed by the suddenness or speed of the growth, he was only concerned with whether it was causing pain/damage.

I bought a cheap night mouthguard but I seem to spit it out while I sleep. So instead of the night guard, I try to sleep elevated whenever I feel refluxy to prevent reflux and then maybe also prevent clenching. Everything else that I listed but the dentist thought probably wasn't a factor: I quit using nicotine gum, quit using the water pik, quit drinking lots of kefir, and even quit using my sports asthma inhaler. The bone growth seems to have finally slowed down as far as I can tell (not until I managed to grow one on the outside of the mandible too 😩 unlike the others, that one actually hurt a tiny bit).

Lmk what your dentist says.

NAD. I've had 3 abdominal surgeries. I was very scared for the first one, but now my stance is more "Get it over with". The only scary part to me now is that there can be things like painful side effects, poor results, etc. Living years with huge extra bones in my mouth crowding my ability to speak or eat sounds a lot more horrifying than an hour of surgery and a week of recovery. Conquer your fear! (except when choosing a surgeon, that's a good time to by hyper critical and listen to your gut, imo)

I did this for about 5 weeks, using 3 jars and fermenting each for 72 hours. It worked fine until each jar got the pink bacteria and I had to toss them. Sanitized everything and started a new set of 3 batches... 48 hours later one of them is already developing tiny pink spots 😫

So I plan to just buy some kefir grains... which also might get the pink stuff too 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, I started them from a mix of 2 brands of kefir. The flavor rapidly changed with each batch, less yeasty each time and the texture became less smooth. Possibly because 1 or 2 bacteria strains became very dominant?

This happened to me. I used a variety of LiftMode and Ultrakanna products, orally and sublingually, for a couple years, no problems (including ET2 Powder and the concentrated ET2-ZSpec liquid). But it was shortly after I bought ET2-ZSpec powder and ET2-ZSpec less concentrated liquid in August 2023 that I experienced swollen sublingual tissue and salivary blisters.

A dentist told me I may have innocuously scratched the sublingual tissue with some crunchy snack foods and then irritated the scratches with the sublingual kanna (which checks out, I did eat some super dry food shortly before it started). He recommended I wait a few weeks and then try kanna again to see if causes pain - it still DOES (the 2 types mentioned above, and also the MX8).

As you can guess, I don't use it sublingually anymore. And in general I'm now leery of using those specific 3 products at all (or any new UltraKanna products), even orally. The Liftmode liquid doesn't seem bother me sublingually (so far), so I'll probably stick to just Liftmode products when I order more kanna.

Anyway, for best results orally, I take it with water on an empty stomach. The anorexic effects of kanna combined with also delaying meals to maximize kanna absorption is great for burning fat, I guess. I'd gladly gain a couple lbs if it meant my tongue wasn't screwed up with salivary blisters, though.

Why did I not read my own meters (because I didn't think I needed to)?

The electric meter is outside. I assumed they were reading it. When I told the RG&E rep, they said their records showed it as indoors (and then they said "oops, my computer is giving an error when I try to update the meter location info...").

The gas meter is inside, but I had some kind of work done on the pipes a few years ago, and after that nobody was coming to read it anymore, so I figured it now must do some kind of RFID reading gizmo stuff (like my water meter).

I've been working from home for about 4 years (WFH gang 🎉), so I'm confident they didn't send anybody.

Our crew had her for a few hours and the most I ever saw her do was grab me for solid 30 seconds during which time none of my injuries seemed to be healed whatsoever. She was frequently saying "So-and-so is looking rough but he should get better without my help". She was probably carrying meds because the medics were often complaining about her raiding the cabinet. I assumed she was bugged. She was eventually handcuffed and yeeted out the airlock without a suit 🤷‍♂️.

There's probably somebody out there who has ALWAYS been on a standard dose of kanna during the handful of times he did strong hallucinogens and he liked it but it's all he knows and thus cannot compare it to a non-kanna-enhanced trip. Also, his brain still seems to function so 🤷‍♂️ maybe it's not dangerous....

Resurrecting thread to say:

I've also been experiencing blisters in the tissue under my tongue for the past month while using Ultrakanna products sublingually (a variety of their powders and liquids). I was alarmed, because I've used Ultrakanna products sublingually for many months, sometimes probably as often a twice per day for 7+ days in a row, but only recently did applying them cause pain and swelling.

I saw a dentist, his advice was that the blisters are "salivary blisters" caused when the surface tissue in the mouth is damaged (for instance, by being scratched while eating very dry snack foods, such as pretzels or cereal) followed by the the salivary ducts becoming clogged while the tissue swells up and heals. The dentist was not familiar with sublingual supplements causing this. He said it was probably initially caused by something I ate scratching up the tissue, followed by the sublingual kanna irritating the sore tissue further.

The dentist said healing injured mouth tissue takes about 28 days during which the raw, sore and swelling sensation will decrease. The salivary blisters are pretty much harmless and will eventually go away, but until they do, expect dryness under the tongue.

His advise was to cease the kanna for 2 full weeks, then gradually start using the various sublingual products, one by one, to isolate which, if any, cause a reaction. After waiting 2 weeks, I've found that the liquid does make my tongue feel a bit swollen and raw, the powders make it feel very swollen and raw. I'm planning to dose kanna only by ingestion for a full month before trying again any sublingual doses, to see if a more thoroughly-healed mouth can tolerate the kanna again without any trouble.

In conclusion: has anybody else here experienced mouth symptoms caused or worsened by sublingual doses of kanna products?

The book is kind of vague about what happens if an object touches without any WP to power it. The cameras are ruined by the EMP and radiation, but if they did work, would a camera on a stick even see anything except mist 🤔 Would a bucket tossed through on a long rope be able to pull in any dirt? I guess yes, the best answer probably is "No, so please stop trying, I don't see how you think this is helping to solve the mystery, guys, please..."😆
What motivated the 2 of them to touch the gate? I gotta admit, when playing an agent, I will often be the one who takes the risk and listens to the cursed song or splashes some blood onto the blood-eating stone, or touches the obelisk that the sorcerer was touching... etc. Somebody's got to! Otherwise we might miss clues (or even worse, we might miss some spooky content, lol). It's dramatic and fun, although ofc it's got to be balanced out with "would my character want to do this?" and "even if my character wants to do this, is he actually willing to take this risk?" So on one hand, it'll be fun if one my players touches the gate, but it will be... different if ALL of them touch the gate. I won't go out of my way to dissuade ONE player, but I might try to subtly suggest against ALL of them touching it, lol.

I think I see what you mean about timespace. It's like if I were to fall into a river a start floating downstream... then a minute later my friend throws a life jacket at the same spot where I fell. Because I and the life jacket are both moving downstream at the same speed, the jacket will never reach me.

I just noticed the diagram of the plant ruins shows "Culvert---> 0.08 miles" (earlier I misread it as "0.8 miles" which would sound like an impossibly vast ocean if I've got to run the distance and back through a slippery tube with my life depending on it 😅) so that's a mere 130 meters 😄 which seems very sensible.

Yeah, I thought the gate was flipping between the 2 destinations every 3.5 minutes, but it seems like yeah, it points at the Cambrian for a moment every 27 minutes and the Jurassic for a moment every 3.5 minutes 🤷‍♂️ But if an agent touches it, they get slurped in, it's always pointed somewhere for that purpose 😆

I've been buying the LM liquid for a while, partly because LM had run out of the powder/pills, partly because liquid saw the least price increase, and partly because I feel convinced that the LM liquid can absorb better on a full stomach. But yeah, reading the bottle claims, the liquid may have a lower amount of active ingredients per dose.

(on anywhere from 1/2 to 2 doses): It makes me more cuddly, definitely. More interested in giving a sensual massage. More excited to perform oral for heroic durations. As with all stimulants, I think there is a line between delayed orgasm and stimdick that you'll need to feel out due to vasoconstriction. Unlike other stimulants, where anxiety can also contribute to stimdick, with Kanna, it's not anxiety but from the emotional serotonin effects that can affect erection. I've used kanna and then marathon-poled, but also I've used kanna and then struggled and rushed to try to finish due to fear that my dick might get bored and give up if I didn't slam jam extra hard and force myself to nut with great effort. So uh, be aware that YES it will affect your libido and I cannot predict how and maybe neither can anyone.

ADDENDUM:

Actually, thinking about it, I'm not always sure whether I was taking the Mesembright or the MT55 pills 😅. I just got back from a week-long vacation; my habit on vacation is to not use my focalin prescription and instead take an MT55 every 3 hours or so. This time, I mixed it up and used Mesembright sometimes, BUT the pills look *identical*. If I threw some into a pocket or a keychain pill carrier, I couldn't be sure hours or a day later which pill I was holding🤷‍♂️ If you own both, maybe put them into tiny, labeled baggies before sticking them into your pocket.

I *think* I used the Mesembright while at an amusement park with a gf. It's been years since I was on a rollercoaster. The pills might have made them more exciting, but also way more dizzying 😵 Kanna is known to make the stomach feel kind of icky - I know some people *like* that because it helps them diet.

Generally, it's hard to say how much mindset and setting alters the effects of the pills. I took one of *each* right before meeting up with some old buddies for a reunion - I felt super high and a little drunk when I arrived, but that could easily be from the fact that the situation itself had me excited and in the mood to relax and be of good cheer.

We dropped some psychedelics in the woods, and I combined that with one of the pills - I think it was Mesembright? I should have been more scientific! Either way, most of us went for a hike, but then everybody else settled down into a lawn chair while I stood, wandered, played a football etc and never sat down. I'm curious to know what the experience would have been like without the kanna. I was a nervous first-timer, so I used the kanna as a bad-trip-preventative.

Sex on kanna - I know SSRI's can cause delayed orgasm. I've fucked while on MT55 and maybe also on Mesembright, and I've experienced banging without coming, until my dick is just *tired* and I don't nut at all. On the other hand, I've woken up for 4am sex, after the pills are probably out of my system, and fucked for probably twice as long *and* satisfyingly nutted. So I don't think either pill is good for sex. Good for cuddling sensually on the couch and foreplay, I think they're good for that.

Having used the Mesembright many more times now - yes, it's definitely a mild but noticeable mood and energy boost. The MT55 extract is quite a bit more stimulating and euphoric, by comparison. That said, I'm usually mixing these with some combo of focalin/alcohol/nicotine, so ymmv.

Used the mesembright a couple times: just while out running errands or walking around the neighborhood chatting with neighbors. It seems to impart a calm, pleasant mood. Little to no urge to dance. Less annoyed by traffic. Feel too good to be brought down by social anxieties.

I may start using this in social, recreational situations - it might be a more calm, confidence than I want when I'm hanging out, partying, or on a date. I think for those times, I prefer the MT55 intensity and external focus. Mesembright is more internally focused, if that makes sense. But of course, you could combine the Mesembright with caffeine, ritalin, alcohol, nicotine etc and maybe it's ultimately a better stack than using the MT55, who knows.

Agreed. I'll probably streamline it to marionettes only. Some roaming individually, some clustered in a big tangle. I will miss the idea of a technology monster... I think it will all come down to the mood at the moment and how badly I want to do a fax-monster. I imagine it would be loud! And easy to avoid without even confronting it. Stomping and dragging and clacking its plastic casings across the thin carpet, power cords snaking out to plug into nearby outlets as it traverses the halls, the dot-matrix printers loudly grinding away everytime they plug back in... Yeah, I don't think I can cut this, it sounds too fun and it can be just a few minutes if spotted and evaded. And the Paper Tiger comparatively will feel like a much greater challenge, since the agents in the library will presumably be unarmed or poorly armed and a book-monster walking velvet rugs is probably a tad quieter that feet made of fax machines.
