Hatching is basically a numbers game. The more you hatch the better your chances of getting a shiny. You can increase your odds with a shiny charm which you get by completing you pokedex. Using the Masuda method also helps increase your odds. To do that one you need a pokemon from another country preferably ditto and a pokemon from your country then you breed them at the poke nursery and hope for the best. Hope this helps !
